Not as positive about that display as others. Seemed unusually unsettled early on and gave ourselves a lot to do as a result.
A goal would’ve made things interesting, of course, but it didn’t truly feel like it was coming.
Capable of better, as we’ve shown already this season. More testing contests await.

A disappointing display from the Seagulls. Jablonec will certainly feel they should have taken all three points.
Bart Verbruggen spared the Albion’s blushes. There’s talent within this Conference League rotational side, but plenty of rawness and wasteful tendencies too.

Who put the ball in the Palace net?
Yet another statement victory from the Seagulls. Every player was brilliant, though there were a few standouts. Luka Vuskovic deserved Player of the Match for me.
Diego Gomez has written his name into the folklore of the rivalry with that goal. An absolute beauty.

🗣️| Diego Gomez on his goal in Brighton’s 5-0 win over Palace:
"When I got the ball I knew the goalkeeper was a little bit ahead. When I scored I didn’t know where to run or what to do. I was very happy with the goal.
"It's about the brotherhood and the intensity. We keep doing this in training and games." #BHAFC
