Can a liquid embolic adapt as it flows? First-in-human results with NeoCast, a solvent-free, non-adhesive, shear-responsive embolic biomaterial: 🧠 100% target-vessel occlusion 🎯 89±7% tumor devascularization ✅ No non-target embolization ✅ No microcatheter entrapment A promising first step for next-generation liquid embolics. 🔗 bit.ly/4z4jvfx

Radial or femoral for stroke thrombectomy? In >6,300 patients, TRA and TFA achieved similar recanalization and functional outcomes. But the trade-off matters: ⬇️ Access-site complications with TRA: 3.4% vs 7.5% ⬆️ Access failure: 6.99% vs 2.18% 🔓 bit.ly/4z4Mdgr

What can 7 prospective trials tell us about WEB treatment? 🧠 The WISE Study pooled the largest prospectively collected, adjudicated WEB dataset to date. At 1 year: 🔹 82.8% adequate occlusion 🔹 2.5% retreatment 🔹 0.5% treatment-related morbidity 🔹 No treated aneurysm ruptures 🔓 Open Access: bit.ly/4wRm7fo

Why do some aneurysms remain patent after flow diversion? 🧠 In 185 aneurysms, branch involvement was the strongest predictor of incomplete occlusion. But not all branches behaved alike—accounting for collateral circulation improved prediction scores. 🔗 bit.ly/3TKoAtm #JNIS #FlowDiversion #Aneurysm #Neurointervention
