Ultramarine 1 Flash just dropped and outscores Claude Fable 5, GPT-5.6 Sol, Gemini 3.8 Flash, and DeepSeek V4.1 Flash on benchmarks including JobBench and FrontierFinance, while being lower in cost by up to 60x.
Google drops Gemini 4 Carbon, I am pretty sure they have a few more up their sleeve.
Helium and Xenon.
Do you currently use Gemini models and if so what for?
I did say we'd be releasing our models periodically...introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, our next frontier model.
Following Argon's release just two weeks ago, Carbon shows the pace at which we’re pushing the frontier, it ranks #1 on the recently updated v5.0 of @ArtificialAnlys Intelligence Index at 59. It also leads across key cybersecurity evaluations scoring 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro for finding vulnerabilities, 54.8% on ExploitGym for exploitation, and 71.0% on CWE-bench for patching.
We’re seeing significant improvements in long-horizon tasks even compared to Argon, and we’ve strengthened frontier safeguards.
As we did with Argon, we’re going to roll it out gradually + responsibly. Some trusted cyber defenders will get access starting this week. We'll be expanding it to more partners through our Fairwind Program, ahead of wider availability soon, so hang tight!
The idea that AI copies ideas and systems from existing games can be true to an extent. Slop is slop.
We have AAA game companies stealing from small artists and using AI.
I have built quite a few small games and am currently in process of building my trilogy.
For the Elysian Chronicles trilogy I built it from the ground up utilizing real world data to build complex in-game systems.
Many of these take a lot of testing and refinement to make sure they are working properly.

If you’re pitching a space tech startup don’t use AI to make your videos, the space nerds will be suspicious.
Make your videos using Kerbal Space Program and they’ll know you at least did simulated engineering.
Let's go Liquid!
Introducing 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹: our new generation of Liquid Foundation Models. With a new tri-hybrid architecture and new multimodal encoders, the LFM3 family is the ideal model suite for specialized intelligence.
> 6 model instances, across text, audio, vision, and omni modalities, generative and decision models.
> 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹-𝟷.𝟽𝙱: text, 256k context window.
> 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹-𝚅𝙻-𝟸𝙱: vision-language model with video-input support for spatial understanding
> 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹-𝙰𝚞𝚍𝚒𝚘-𝟸𝙱: tool calls, voice chat, reasoning in 18 languages.
> 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹-𝙾𝚖𝚗𝚒-𝟸𝙱: an omni model combines vision, audio, and language.
> 𝚍𝟷-𝟸𝙱 and 𝚍𝟷-𝙾𝚖𝚗𝚒-𝟸𝙱: decision models with typed outputs and calibrated probabilities in a single pass. Omni adds audio input.
> fine-tune on 1 GPU.
> a new tri-hybrid architecture
> architecture optimized for 14 processor classes across GPUs, CPUs, and NPUs.
> 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹-𝚅𝙻-𝟸𝙱 is a beast. It performs competitively with Gemma 4 12B (6x larger), and Gemini 3.5 Flash Lite, and GPT-5.6 Luna, with 1.9B parameters.
> 𝙻𝙵𝙼𝟹-𝟷.𝟽𝙱 is #1 on the Pareto frontier of device intelligence 𝚙𝚒𝚙𝚎𝚝𝚝𝚎.𝚕𝚒𝚚𝚞𝚒𝚍.𝚊𝚒
Every modality for specialized intelligence. Pick the one that fits your use case, customize it, and run it on-device.

The parts came in for my old car in borrowing.
Alternator and serpentine belt swapped, now time to go back to work.
How is your evening?
If we stay at the absolute peak and really utilize the robotics hardware wisely, I think we will see far more than we think in 5 years or less.
"Yes, you could build and train a specialist robot to do that today, but there is a very long way to go to replace the full range of human capabilities."
Clearly Elon is already thinking about it.
I see how some people can watch flashy robot demos on the timeline and think with a shiver that the robot apocalypse is around the corner, but reality check:
There is no robot in the world that can change the batteries in a jack-o-lantern.
If you have a robot friendly door handle it might be able to walk outside, pick it up, and carry it back inside. The robot could open the drawer with your batteries in it, but then things get tough.
Opening the package of AA batteries?
Extracting a precision screwdriver from its case?
Unscrewing four tiny screws that require a hard press and twist?
Popping batteries out of the case?
Yes, you could build and train a specialist robot to do that today, but there is a very long way to go to replace the full range of human capabilities. Near term doomer scenarios should stop at “secretly controlling humanity” instead of “wiping humanity out” 😀
I'm honestly surprised I have not being seeing people with larger hardware training their own version of models.
The community talks about open-source AI but very few actually seem to be doing any of this on X.

Google has let the next Genie out of the bottle.
The question is when will we all get it?
The price of RAM hopefully should come down by the end of next year.
We are in a crunch period right now but manufacturing is ramping up across the board with a new factory in China as well.
A$AP Rocky is under fire for ripping off a small artist using AI.
"They took our video without permission (or even asking), then fed it into AI and changed Jason to ASAP Rocky," - Cache Bunny
In 2021 he previewed a song called "Mushroom Clouds." On Oct. 19 that song released as "Shroom Clouds".
He is being accused of ripping off a scene from a 2019 video series using GoPro Fusion directed by Ari Fararooy and Cache Bunny, with visual effects by Cache Bunny, featuring German parkour athlete Jason Paul.
Hope everyone had an excellent day today.
Really hoping the car parts I ordered get here tomorrow so I can swap them out. I gotta get back to working.

Look forward to the day we look back the entire left/right structure as primitive and reductive and have definable collective goals that we all work towards. We do have data and common sense to steer us to a future that benefits the whole, instead we reduce ourselves to tribalism
