I just made my first German Messer!
Fully hand forged and traditionally heat treated.
I really enjoyed making this one, I'd love to make more for people in the future. 🔥
Added a fuller to the Messer blade.
It's also now hardened and tempered!
Did my first ever edge quench instead of the full blade. It's great, as it's way harder for the blade to warp during hardening, with the spine still being cold.
Looking forward to getting the handle on!
