Acid Spit is a great song to play if you feel like your fingers need a little grinding down with its manic shifting of positions up and down the neck. (After a while, it really feels like your fingertips are starting to smoke).

Lemphealt. Simple harmony. Complex rhythm.
It’s hard to keep your cool and stick to the slow quarter-note pulse when the drummer is going rimshot-apeshit behind you, one 32nd note off. Soothing and stressful at the same time.

Lemphealt. Some widdly widdly from the new tune.
It’s liberating to leave out the third in a solo. The tonality - here a pentatonic raga called Madhyamavati - creates a kind of calm. You’re not automatically forced into major or minor territory.

Lemphealt is a peculiar song that holds a special place in my heart. A huffing yet fragile beast. Like a freight train with ligament problems.

A collection of fragmented, slightly choleric clips from my clinics at Guitar Summit 2026, plus a spontaneous jam with the fantastic Kent Crawley in our booth. Thanks again to all the wonderful people who showed up, laughed, and dug the music.

Kaizo’s third, slightly hysterical tapping theme over a somewhat extended A harmonic minor scale (after a frenetic solo) is fun to play; the fingers of the right and left hands keep getting in each other’s way, fighting over the same frets.

Huge thanks to everyone who came to yesterday’s gig at Alingsås Metalfest. Despite endless technical problems throughout the entire show, it still turned into a fun moment together. Band fought hard to keep it together, and you helped us through all the chaos with your energy!
