In the month of August @WorldVisionUSA received an anonymous $2.6M Tether donation.
Today I am excited to share that all of these funds will be supporting our Water Innovation Projects, specifically our programs in Zambia that combine Water + Solar Energy and @SpaceX @Starlink internet connectivity.
This is a full economic and technological leapfrogging moment for communities living in extreme poverty.
Thank you doesn't even begin to describe the level of gratitude I feel in my heart.
This is the largest single donation from a crypto donor we have received in our history.
Immediately our team discussed how best to honor the generosity of this donor and how to best steward these resources.
My hope and prayer is that this will inspire other people in the fintech/crypto space to partner with us in our mission to end extreme poverty in our lifetime.
