So excited that @geoprotocol’s partnering with Edge City! Big believer in the startup society model & bringing creatives together. No one does it like Edge.
We’re gonna have some sci-fi tech to play with! See you there ✨
We're partnering with @geoprotocol to turn @EdgeEsmeralda into a city that remembers.
Every summer we bring 500+ people to a small California town for a month to test new technologies and run experiments in public.
Last year, 93% of sessions were created by participants.
oh lord 😭

In light of the Kelp / LayerZero incident over the weekend, we have taken the Animoca-Blockdaemon DVN offline as a precaution while we complete a thorough internal review of our LayerZero operation. We are not aware of any exploitation, and no customer funds have been at risk.
Our DVN operates on a different architectural footing to the setup that was exploited in the Kelp incident: it queries multiple independent RPC providers per chain.
We paused rather than continuing to operate during the review because we believe the right posture for security-critical infrastructure, in a moment of heightened industry risk, is to verify first and operate second. The DVN will return to service once the review is complete and we are satisfied with the posture. Further updates will follow.

Audits are just one piece of the puzzle 🧩
Real security is 360 degrees: protocol design (so code is easier to build, maintain, and upgrade), off-chain security, wallet/key management, plus 24x7 monitoring of on-chain activity to spot threats early and stay proactive.

The next giant leap for web3 isn’t another model, it’s a shared graph of verified, linked, interpretable data.
We already have the pieces in place, they just need to be connected.
