I’d like to request support for the Jirasama role within @JirasanOfficial. For those who don’t know me, here is my story, along with why I’d be a valuable member 🦖 Disclaimer: I currently hold 11 Jira’s and bought my first PG NFT 22 months ago. Here goes… It all started after seeing a video on Cryptopunks in 2021. Since that day, I’ve collected, traded, learned, and built, rarely spending time on anything but. My first opportunity came in 2022 when I served as the Community Manager for Gangsta Mice City, a PG-backed strategy game. This experience confirmed my belief that people, no matter where they are in the world, can become some of your closest friends 🫂 While the founder ended up rugging a couple months after mint, the year of growing the community and building bonds with those involved was irreplaceable. I will always hold this group of friends in my tightest circle. @jesus_nama @TheMightyTor11 @axiecapitol1 and @MadaraSensei_ are among them (all Jira holders) After that, I became the Head of PR for a Web3 Consulting Agency working on an NFT Fantasy Football game. On top of utilizing my prior experience to drive growth, I directed a weekly YT series, as well as provided directional strategy to the team. Unfortunately, after 9 months, this founder rugged as well. I held both roles while remaining unhappy in my professional life (MechE degree, 7 years of project management, 1 year of trying to start a business, 1 year of middle school teaching). But, this past fall, I took the leap into full-time web3. It was a big risk stepping off my career path. And I still struggle to sleep a lot of nights. But I’ve never been happier. I’m now working as the Head of Growth and Marketing for @Trustware_io, a cross-chain social payments platform that offers universal usernames to send, receive, and manage all of your digital assets. I wear a ton of hats, but being able to work on something I love is a blessing, and I urge everyone to find what drives them and gives their life purpose. For me, it’s democratizing the world and opportunities through blockchain 🌎⛓️ While I wish I could spend more time in spaces and servers forming new connections, this role and my irl relationships have been consuming most of my time. Building real value for you guys is so important for me. And Trustware is going to crush it. I know it. Throughout my journey, I’ve gained a second sense for what success looks like in web3. And if one things for sure, it’s not the big companies and names that do well, it’s the young, motivated, disruptors like so many of us here. In 2023, I made the largest investment of my life in the second week of Pepe’s launch. It seemed obvious it would be huge. Then I sat for a year as my investment went down, but we all know what came next… 🐸 I’m still hodling my initial holdings almost two years later. You will never find me on pump fun, but when I see an opportunity, I seize it with conviction.
