Irrigation Termination (IT) is a wonderful time, but don’t stop too early, especially with the heat we’ve been experiencing! All our crops at IT still need to have good soil moisture to finish for yield and quality! Soybeans at R6.5 still need 2.9 inches to finish!

What a great idea!!!! We all have em, be a cheap buildup depending on what height you need! Just make em taller for less buildups in a run and use that height as your max head in PipePlanner!

Soybean fields with flooded bottoms? Drone imagery identified new field boundary for improved irrigation design, optimizing irrigation performance in fields with variable row lengths to reduce water and diesel consumption. Funding provided by The Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board.

Had a great time at the National Agricultural County Agents Association Annual Meeting and PIC speaking on the importance of optimizing irrigation efficiency, using technology, and the importance of collaboration with other state agencies and addressing promotion board issues!
