@TheMsMonkey THANK YOU!!! First time this season we’ve gotten to get out as a family of three - with our powers combined we got lucky! We love you, Tacoma. #monkeyshines2024

Our new dog got out late this afternoon. If you are out hunting today/tonight and spot her please let us know. She is afraid of almost everything. Juniper or Juni is her name. She has been spotted by Grant, UPS and Junett. #monkeyshines2024

There are still more Monkeyshines to be found out there! Can you believe that the Annual Monkeyshine Hunt is now in its 20th year? Our friends at the Tacoma Ledger have a great writeup about the history of this uniquely-Tacoma Lunar New Year celebration.

Just wanted to post and see if anyone has found any of these shines. My girl worked hard on 30 of these and I haven’t seen one posted. She really wanted to make someone’s day. So if you’ve found one, tag me so I can let her know.

Forgot to post—killing time and came across this ugliness on an otherwise fairly clean street that y’all may recognize. Anyways, while killing time, i got to use my handy-dandy new grabber tool to make T-Town a nicer place. Always a great feeling. #monkeyshines2023

An easy and fun way to help with trash around the city is to bring a plastic grocery bag with you on any #monkeyshines2023 adventures! Fill your bag as you go, snap a picture when you’re done and submit it to the Tacoma trash pandas for an added bonus 😉
This year is all about love, kindness and picking up trash.
Always do your very best, and leave the world a better place starting with our beloved Tacoma.
