In that span, Missouri is 1-9 vs. ranked teams - only win vs. No. 24 Boston College in 2024

Strangle your three toddlers?
Run over an ICE agent?
Stab a kid at a track meet?
Shoot a healthcare CEO?
The Left will praise you.
Get assassinated while bringing civil discourse to campuses?
They’ll dance on your grave.
Soft-on-crime ideology is not compassion.
It is a transfer of risk from offenders to families.
The families then buy cameras.
The state then congratulates itself for equity.
Order is not oppression.
Order is how children get a childhood.
Ch.2 - What High Trust Actually was
This.
Working families aren’t crazy. They’re reading the invoice.
In California I was looking at $1,500–$2,500/mo for a young family before deductible, before OOP max. We walked. Pay cash. Hope the year is kind.
Health insurance used to be the adult version of leaving the door unlocked. Now the healthy household is the residual payer and everyone wonders why people stop having kids.
I talk about this exact situation in my upcoming book on our erosion of high trust living
(From Ch.5)
Kids are overprotected outside the house and greatly underprotected inside it.
We won’t let them walk to the park.
We hand them a machine that will not stop talking to them in the bedroom.
We overprotected the yard and underprotected the bedroom.
That is not caution.
That is a bad trade.
Twenty years ago if a kid was the last one after the game, you put him in the truck and took him home.
Now it’s forms, license copies, insurance pages, sometimes fingerprints.
You still don’t leave a kid in the cold.
You just feel like a defendant while you do the right thing.

Want to coach kids in America?
Fingerprints. Fee. Online modules.
Then do it again for the next league, because the first clearance doesn’t travel.
We fingerprint the dad who wants to hit grounders.
We shrug at the guy rummaging cars on the same street.
I’ll keep coaching.
I also know why a lot of good men stay in the stands.
We used to call this playing.
Now it’s surveillance photos at the door,
a police report,
and a bill.
Kids twist a swing. Chain breaks. Nobody hurt.
The town’s answer is criminal charges.
High trust was when the park fixed the swing
and the parents talked.
Low trust is a courtroom for a 10-year-old.
🚨#BREAKING: A mother is FURIOUS after a Pennsylvania town CRIMINALLY CHARGED her two little girls, ages 10 and 12, and dragged them into court...
...because a playground swing broke while they were spinning on it.
Yes, you read that right.
The two girls twisted the chains to get dizzy, the chain snapped, and the borough's response was CRIMINAL MSCHIEF CHARGES for a 10-year-old.
This is Springdale, Pennsylvania, just outside Pittsburgh.
On May 21st, a group of kids were playing at Veterans Memorial Park where two sat on the swing and the others twisted the chains up tight and let go, so the swing would spin them dizzy.
Every one of us did this as a kid... hundreds of times.
The chain broke. Nobody was hurt.
Two weeks later, a POLICE OFFICER showed up at Katie Huss's front door with SURVEILLANCE PHOTOS of the children on a swing.
The borough had split the repair bill among five kids.
$59 dollars each.
Three families paid up and their kids' charges disappeared.
Katie demanded more information:
"Show me the evidence my daughters did this on purpose and show me the swing was even inspected prior to this occuring."
She didn't pay and so her 10 and 12-year-old daughters were CHARGED WITH A CRIME.
Criminal mischief.
BY the way... under Pennsylvania's criminal code, that is a charge that requires INTENT.
The two little girls were terrified and had to sit in a courtroom while a police officer testified against them for "not using the swing properly."
Thankfully, the judge threw it out and found them not guilty.
It was CLEARLY an accident, not a crime.
...you would think it would end there, but it doesn't!!!
The borough is now threatening to sue this mother in CIVIL court over $180.
And Katie still hasn't been allowed to see the video they used against her children, it was shown to the lawyers, but not to the mom.
Nearly every single day, violent repeat offenders WALK OUT OF JAIL ALL THE TIME to prey on innocent people...
...but INSTEAD of dealing with that, we have built a system that lets predators go and prosecutes children for playing AT A PARK USING SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE TO WATCH THEM
America, we have LOST THE FREAKING PLOT!!!!
