My sister is expecting her first child this December, and since I'm the only member of the family with a vested interest in retro games and speedrunning, it will be up to me to expose him to the classics. And so I'm going to night school to prepare by the time he turns 5 or so.

So many random old console games are getting big re-releases these days. I should just re-release some ROM and take my chances repackaging it for the present day. If the actual owner comes out of the woodwork, we can either come to an agreement or settle it in the Thunderdome.

Great idea or possibly stupid: If a game gets cancelled mid-development, repackage what's still playable and include it as a bonus "demo" in a larger completed game
