🩸 #STOPTHEBLEED | Five @LouisvilleCHS students jumped into action to help a student who severed an artery in his forehead at school. Three of the students are in Central's health services program and knew what to do in an emergency to stop the bleed and provide care! #WeAreJCPS
ALT Four of the five students who helped during an emergency at Central High School pose for a picture and smile.

My advice to HS recruits:
1. Be eligible..no coach runs from good grades
2. Seriously consider the school that wants you the most
3. Don’t let level guide you
4. Ask questions..lots!
5. Don’t be afraid to initiate contact
6. Focus on what you can control
7. Be grateful
Congrats! – at Fincastle, KY

Sleepers who can make a big impact 2023 7th Region:
1. Amirah Jordan @OfficialAmirah8
2. Nylaia Carter @nylaiacarter
3. Brianna Wilkins @CenturionsWBB
4. Kaela Ballard @CoachBragg10
5. Keniah Edelen @LadyBulldogs19 – at Fincastle, KY
7th Region 2023 All First Team:
1. Zakiyah Johnson @ZJohnson_06 @ValkyriesBBall
2. Angelina Pelayo @AngelinaPelayo @ValkyriesBBall
3. Jakayla Thompson @JakaylaThompso4
4. Sydney Tolbert @ManualAthletics @SydneTolbert
5. Jala Douglas @LouCentral_GBB @douglas_jala – at Fincastle, KY
Central @LouCentral_GBB can compete for a 7th region title depending on how they protect the ball, and produce in the backcourt. The addition of @nylaiacarter can be the difference maker, but can she transition into a new system/culture, and produce? Only time will tell....... – at Fincastle, KY
Manual @ManualAthletics has bench depth and athleticism which makes them the favorite; question is can they execute offensively against a zone and produce without a true big?
SHA @ValkyriesBBall has 4 solid players, but can they compete like last year beyond those 4? – at Fincastle, KY
Top 7 2023 7th Region teams:
1. Dupont Manual @ManualAthletics
2. Sacred Heart @ValkyriesBBall
3. Central @LouCentral_GBB
4. CAL @CenturionsWBB
5. Male @LadyBulldogs19
6. Assumption @AHSwBasketball
