It’s time to change. Over the past 12 months trans, nonbinary and GNC people have come together to develop a statement that ensures trans actors are always cast in trans roles. You can check this out here: transcastingstatement.com #TransCasting

We’re sad to announce that the agency arm of the Queer House is closing.
Several factors have contributed to this difficult decision, including ongoing barriers for queer + trans folks, + challenges to become financially + structurally sustainable within industry structures.
The hope is that with further work and fundraising, the Queer House will continue to exist in some capacity, and we’ll share more about that soon.
You can read more about the closure here: bit.ly/QHcl
Please keep in touch with the artists and consider them for future projects. You can get in touch with them directly here thequeerhouse.com/artist-dir…

I wrote Home Sweet Hell while I was stuck in a relationship due to lack of housing and trying to pursue a career as a writer while working minimum wage work. It’s a funny, sad, and layered show with poetry, dialogue and monologue. It’s back for one night only at @CamdenPT.

Orlando wants to Capital L Live, make art, find love. We hard relate.
Orlando owns a stately home, is casually racist, classist and embroiled in some dodgy politics in Istanbul. We don’t relate.

We are so grateful to @OmnibusTheatre for giving us the space to experiment with Response: Orlando. Virginia Woolf wrote through new worlds and old, so we’ve given 5 writers the chance to do the same, but there is a catch... none of them have read the original book.

...as your beloved gaslights you into thinking they’re better than they are.
And all you want to do is finish writing your magnum opus The Oak Tree.
… but Woolf’s Orlando spent 300 years writing their masterpiece. We only gave the writers 10 days 😈
