From inside Ukraine... believe it or not your choice. But definitely question the MSM narrative!
Not the first time we've heard reports like this.

One of the best sermon clips I’ve ever seen.
The Ground of All Human Assurance Before God (Don Carson)
“Death doesn’t pass over them on the ground of the intensity or the clarity of the faith exercised; but on the ground of the blood of the Lamb.”

John Piper: “We are less deserving than frogs.”
Jesus: “You are worth more than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:31
Who should we believe? Jesus or John Piper?
The Calvinist emphasizes how undeserving we are. Jesus reminds us of our value to God.

Very thought provoking! ⬇️
God chose Judas.
"Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?" (John 6:70)
Chosen. And lost. Jesus said both about the same man.
So the next time someone tells you "the elect" means the people God picked for heaven before the world began, ask them what it meant for Judas.
I didn't stop there. I pulled every verse in the Bible that says elect, election, chosen, or choose. All 251. Here's one thing I found before you open the essay: the word "election" appears six times in the entire Bible. Four of them are about Israel. The other two tell you to make yours sure by how you live.
Every verse is published, with the one before and after it, so you can check each line against your own Bible. The link is in the first reply.
Ground rules, since I'd like this to be a real argument and not a verse fight: the essay is built in numbered exhibits. If it's wrong, it's wrong at a line. Read the section, tell me which line, and I'll answer that line. Verses thrown without reading get a link back to the section that already handles them. Fair?

Because the greek word is not actually forgiveness. That is too small of a word. The greek word actually means diverance, release from bondage, remission.
Because PSA only sees forgiveness, it cannot see the power of the cross for remission and deliverance.
God certainly can forgive sins without shedding blood.
But we need deliverance, not just forgiveness.
Hebrews 9:22 NKJV
And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.
Notice that this verse is also confined to the working of the law. Not the working of God. Calvinist cannot see beyond the law. Their whole system is built in God serving the law as if it is equal to Him.
Strong's Definition
From G863; freedom; (figuratively) pardon: - deliverance forgiveness liberty remission.

The Bible DOES NOT speak of the end of time, it speaks of the time of the end. Big difference. The time of the end was the time of the end of the old covenant. By a friend. – at Clanton, AL

Forgiven (Col 2:13). Safe (John 10:28). Nothing can separate you from God’s love (Rom 8:38). His grace abounds (Rom 5:20).

The reason I’m speaking about tongues so much is because most people are missing out.
If you have received the gift already, you’re still most likely missing out, not realizing it’s true purpose.
To help you walk in supernatural power, discover God more intimately, come to a full realization of God’s love, and learn to trust Holy Spirit.
If you have not received the baptism of Holy Spirit, tongues is only one gift out of many. And it’s purpose is to draw you into all the other gifts so that you can be a sign of Christ on the Earth.
Tongues is not the least gift. It is training for faith to access all the other gifts. So you can learn to live prophetically.

When it comes to seeking the baptism of Holy Spirit:
There is no wrong. There is no doing. Many people struggle to receive because they think it has to come in a certain fashion. They also think their obedience is required. They think their rightness matters.
We receive through faith by simply asking. We must be certain of a few things, and they are all found in Jesus‘s instruction. We must believe God is good. That he freely gives to his children. And that he will give only because we asked, and for no other reason. You are qualified simply because you are his child and he is a good father.
Luke 11:13 NKJV
If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him!"
How it happens is in a moment of worship where God‘s presence is pouring out around you and God is becoming real. Your heart sings praises to God and words begin to bubble up inside your mind. Words you’ve never heard before. And you simply speak what you hear in your mind. Then it comes pouring out of you faster than you can think. God doesn’t take control of your tongue. He doesn’t force you to speak. He simply places these words in your mind, and you speak them in faith.
Draw near to God. Make more of Him your only goal. Believe that He love you and won’t withhold Himself from you.
Because the Baptism of Holy Spirit is you becoming more one with God. God getting more of you. And you getting become His.

Holiness is not something we produce—it is Someone we receive.
“But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.”
—1 Corinthians 1:30 (KJV)
Notice the order and the source. Christ is made unto us sanctification. Not a process we improve. Not behavior we refine. A Person given.
This is why Scripture never tells believers to become holy by effort, but to walk in what is already true:
“For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”
—Hebrews 10:14 (KJV)
Behavioral modification can restrain the flesh, but it can never create holiness. Holiness flows from union, not discipline. From identity, not performance.
“And ye are complete in him.”
—Colossians 2:10 (KJV)
We don’t chase holiness.
We don’t manufacture holiness.
We live from the Holy One who finished the work.
"I therefore...beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called."
—Ephesians 4:1 (KJV)
"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh."
—Galatians 5:16 (KJV)
