"Incapable of self critique on a meaningful scale" meaning what? No one knows because the answer changes from person to person. This line of thinking requires one ignore the 2000 years Christianity has spent examining and challenging its own beliefs from within.

One of Christianity's massive problems is that it's incapable of self critique on a meaningful scale. It really does smack of an insecurity in the theological consensus where "if one premise falls, the rest will too." And when it's on a bad path, it can't turn around.
The only difference between Nazis and Communists is that the West only considered one of you a threat. We figured it wrong. You're both the scum of the earth and should have been dealt with the same way.

This is a bold claim that always makes me chuckle. Just to focus on Paul, he wrote letters of correction and direction to the churches and specific members of those churches. They're about what Christians believe and how they should act. They aren't recollections of events.

If you're one of those morons who acts like you're going to teach the GOP a lesson by not voting...
The GOP never learns a lesson when you abstain from voting. It's never worked before, it won't work this time.
The only thing they learn is that your voting demographic cannot be relied upon to show up.
That causes them to lean Left and appease Boomers who do show up consistently.
The Left slowly erodes the country one election at a time, even if the policies and candidates aren't exactly what they want. They show up and get involved.
Conservatives demand their entire wishlist be achieved in half a term, or else they'll let the other party take power.
While the rest of the series is like Gundam but with airplanes, this was Lelouch of the Rebellion. And in that uniqueness it stands out as one of the best. My personal favorite.

To all the Boomers bitching about Social Security:
If you hadn’t advocated for the abortion of tens of millions of children, there would be a lot of people paying into the system.
Just sayin’
God Bless America.
Dear @PeteHegseth and @realDonaldTrump @SECNAV
We still have time before the execution of 2009 Fort Hood murderer. I recommend we change his method of execution. The USS Constitution fought in the Barbary Wars. For historical purposes he should be hung from the yardarm.
Thanks.
Vince.
I've seen this retarded ass take a few times. The thing is we *wanted* Silva. We wanted McKay. Halo Studios had the opportunity to do the coolest thing ever and add the extra story elements from Halo: The Flood into the CE and they didn't.
It is not a "worst decision" to not touch on a plot point the developers of Halo infinite had 5 years to expand on and chose not to. There is no potential here.
Also your premise is entirely false and you know it.
If Activision never touches on it, it will be one of the worst decisions in the history of the franchise. The Covenant is an old enemy at this stage. Not to say they can't easily be brought back and made interesting in a variety of clever ways, but the path to keeping Halo exciting is digging even deeper into its universe's lore.
In Halo we were ALWAYS going to learn more about the secrets regarding the Forerunners, the Precursors, and any other secrets of that universe, so why would anybody ever be against Halo revealing that? Halo's extended universe and wealth of lore is its advantage over every other boring shooter universe out there. It's well beyond simply military conflict, and far more interesting than any of these other alien vs human style conflicts.
Folks are waxing philosophical about consent in regards to a case where a whore admitted she was a whore to multiple people only to change her tune to "I was raped" after the whore got a reputation as a whore. It's wild.
Really? This whore is the hill you wanna have this on?
I see your unproven claims, as the systems have never been put to the test against what they were designed to fight, and raise you the Virginia. The deadliest weapon at sea isn't a CSG, it's an SSN. And neither Russia, China or India have a good answer to the US hunter killer.

Aircraft carrier groups are a very easy target for countries with a well‑developed missile system, so this is no longer an advantage.
Do not listen to this man. Fast track it. 30 years for procedural appeal on top of procedural appeal is bullshit. There was never a question of whether or not she did it. Open and shut case, Johnson. She should have been hung from the neck until dead before that year was out.
Being a Christian online is a course in secondhand embarrassment. Most arguments with Prots and Caths is painful because most don't really know with the Bible, just enough to twist scripture to their view.
In unrelated news, did you know the Apostle Peter is the serpent in Eden?
