🚨 Every American taxpayer NEEDS to see this. HCA Healthcare is a for-profit company that runs 190 hospitals. Last year it got $6.2 BILLION in extra Medicaid money. That's almost as much as its whole profit. Your tax money. And it gets worse. Keep reading. Here's how it works. Hospitals pay a local tax. The state uses that tax to unlock federal money. Then the money goes back to the hospitals, plus extra. That extra comes from you, the taxpayer. Now watch how much comes back. HCA's Texas hospitals paid $225 million in that tax in 2020. They got $675 million back. That's $3 back for every $1 they paid. Other hospitals got about $2. Then Congress stepped in. Florida was paying hospitals almost double what Medicare pays. In 2025, Congress said cut it down, starting in 2028. Hospitals asked for more. Florida's yearly hospital payments went from $3.3 billion to $7.8 billion. The federal government approved Florida's money in April 2026 on one condition: Every hospital had to sign a promise that it has no secret deal to get its tax money back. And any secret deals had to end. Then HCA told Wall Street. In just 3 months, HCA counted $1.37 BILLION in Florida money. It covered almost 2 years. HCA also counted $829 million in related costs. Those same 3 months, HCA spent $2.06 BILLION buying back its own stock. Florida says this money is to cover hospitals' losses on Medicaid patients. But even after Congress's cuts, Florida will still pay out $1 billion MORE in 2034 than in 2024. So who's checking? A federal watchdog was looking into these Texas tax deals. In November 2024, it stopped. Its reason: "limited resources." This isn't HCA's first time under the government's microscope. In 2003, after the largest health care fraud investigation the Justice Department had ever run, HCA paid $1.7 BILLION. It called it "by far the largest recovery" ever. HCA says these programs support care for Medicaid patients. Getting back more than you pay is how the program works. It's legal. It shouldn't be. Sources pinned below.

It's legal. It shouldn't be. Billions in tax money. One for-profit company. And a federal audit dropped.

Follow @therealisticrn. I'm following this money all the way down, and I'm not stopping at HCA.

I am happily outside of the medical system and excited for the new system emerging.
Replying to @TheRealisticRN
The medical system is the devil incarnate. Leave before it's too late. We are building something new.

🚨 The American people are demanding the truth about the healthcare system. TikTok just banned my account for giving it to them. 85,000 people followed my investigations there. Overnight, gone. I'm an American nurse. I worked the ER for 7 years and through the pandemic. I watched what this system does to people when no one is watching. So now I investigate it. Here's what I posted. Hospitals running nurses into the ground and blaming them when patients get hurt and killed. Medicare paying hospitals 20% MORE for every COVID patient they admitted. Federal law. People hurt after the vaccine and told it was in their head. A platform that hosts cartels and predators SILENCED a licensed American nurse with RECEIPTS and the truth. If they can silence a nurse with receipts and 85,000 people listening, they can silence ANYONE telling Americans the truth about their health.

America's biggest for-profit hospital company had to tell a state how many nurses its new beds would get. I found the filing. Nurses, you need to see this. 🧵

When there aren't enough nurses, the savings go on their books. The blame goes on your license.

Look up your own hospital tonight. Go to hospitalinspections.org, type the name, and search "staffing." Send this to a nurse who's been told "everyone's short."
