The difficult decision has been made to stop due to an injury which will mean Richard cannot safely complete the route.
Richard has run a total of 378.9 miles, the equivalent of 14.46 marathons since setting off from Lands End.
Big thanks to Chris Forster & @NbaileyNeil for coming out yesterday with Richard. A day of rest yesterday with a decision made this morning to go slow & steady.
Keep an eye on the tracker; live.opentracking.co.uk/rgle… - team will be on the move again shortly.
#therunningguardsman is about 16 miles outside Warrington, how about a shoutout @RadioWarrington - looking forward to staying in town tonight 🏃♂️💂♂️🏃♂️
