Ridiculously fun + versatile on the offensive end. No reason that 4+ double-figure scorers shouldn’t be the expectation every night. Might have 7 different leading scorers. Just gotta keep getting better defensively!

So awesome when a kid puts in work for a few years, then delivers when his number is called. Shooting is good enough to get some minutes, and defensive effort and toughness will keep him out there.

My biggest take away is this UNCW team is going to be dominant on the boards. The size, athleticism, and genuine instinct translated very well today in that regard.

UNCW beats UNCG 97-87 in the final exhibition game. Don't have the final numbers, but Patrick Wessler around the 20-point mark, with Makel Smith, Tyler Nelson, and Xavier Brown all in double figures. Defense remains a work in progress, but the offense got rolling today.

UNCW shot 52 percent from the field and won 41-22 on the boards. Seahawks had a 39-32 edge last weekend at HPU, too. This team has a chance to really dominate on the glass.
