Just suffered through a 96 GB download for the new Call of Duty so I can play Black Ops 7, which is already on my PC. This needs to stop. Nobody should be forced to download a game they are not going to play so they can play one they own! @XBOX @Activision @CallofDuty fix this!
When is @Activision going to fix the matchmaking issues with @CallofDuty? I have joined too many matches over the past few years that are already an L. When you put people onto a losing team where the other team is ahead by more than 100 points, matchmaking has failed.
Just listened to a podcast where the guest "an industry expert in games marketing for 11 years" just gave awful advice for 20+ minutes! Here is my favorite quote from this person in regards to indie game developers, "The biggest problem that you have is that you are not very good at making games." Oh, and today I learned that console games deliver 25-30% of the sales of Steam. Please stop believing this crap. This person is spinning their experience as fact.
Stay tuned.
Connor Murphy is likely an Edmonton Oiler - Thanks to ChatGPT for the info:
Conclusion: Likely an Oiler
All signs — circumstantial, strategic, and circumstantial — point to Connor Murphy having been traded to the Edmonton Oilers, with public disclosure being delayed.
Going back to this tweet @EdmontonOilers - Yeah, it was last year that Chatty GPT and I called it on Murph!
He has been injured, but he and Leon are coming back and I will call it that you get the cup this year.
My favorite saying over the last few weeks is, "AI isn't going to replace you, but someone using AI will if you aren't using it." #AI #AIingames #gamedevelopment #reality

Watching this again for the first time since film school. Do you know what it is? It's a film by the brother of my favorite director.
Absolutely devastated by the passing of Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew. Our sticks are out tonight to celebrate their lives. Going to share some pics I have that nobody has ever seen as I have been a fan of Johnny since the first time I saw him.
On my way to PGConnects London to talk about emerging business models for games. Fractional ownership, rentals, shared subscriptions, annuities, community accounts...and yes, Web3. We are going to dive in and talk about the future of the games biz. #games #monetization #f2p #mmo
I'm a day late, but just found out and am gutted that beloved Ray Stevenson passed. I loved his work on Rome, King Arthur, and dozens of other movies. I always knew if Ray was in it, I would love his role, no matter the subject. #legend #raystevenson

"The banking earthquake is sending shockwaves through the financial markets. The financial and economic aftershocks, soon to follow, are underappreciated and may prove worse than the earthquake."
