How will Trump’s reelection affect relations with China?
Trump likes Xi Jinping at a personal level, but..
Things will get worse in terms of tariffs, sanctions and containment policy, because Republicans will control the Congress.
There are many crazies who dream of a war with China in 2027. But Trump will not agree to that.
Moreover, China has reached the geopolitical escape velocity. And it has a lot of leverage over US economy.
And the Chinese government has experience dealing with Trump.
So, Xi and Putin will work as a team to contain US aggression. And with BRICS, they will succeed.
