Hi there. We're not curating this account any longer - please hop over to the main Sheldon feed at @smmretreat for 'real world' and Hub related updates from Sheldon.
The Sheldon Hub is back online. If you have any difficulty logging in please let us know. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The Hub is currently offline (26th September) while BT works on replacing some faulty equipment. We'll let you know when you can log back in, find support and share with others in Christian ministry.
Due to a planned power cut the Sheldon Hub will be offline for the day. Check here or on the website for any further updates. Sorry for the inconvenience #sheldonhub #clergysupport #ministrysupport

Enjoy peaceful family breaks at many of our retreat houses this summer - including at @OthonaWDorset, @OthonaEssex, and @HilfieldFriary - and especially for clergy families from 6-19 August, at the @smmretreat #family #holidays

Who needs the Red Arrows when you can have #Swifts.
At least 4 nests under our thatched eaves this year. 40 in the sky tonight.

Do #clergy #pastors work much harder and longer hours than in other jobs? Good to discuss in sheldonhub.org In confidence.
"Thanks, Hub, for all the advice and support" from other #ministers #clergy, resources and coaching. Concerns raised anonymously in sheldonhub.org. No subject too awkward. Open all hours.
For all #clergy #pastors: very serious matters about life in #churchministry discussed in sheldonhub.org Honestly. Also those non-serious everyday things that make a difference. Anonymity assured.
The Sheldon Hub is currently offline due to lightning breaking the telecoms system. It may take a couple of days to fix. We'll keep you up to date here.

I'm finding some of the clergy-on-clergy commentary from yesterday pretty shocking. I understand disagreeing and criticising but, in a climate where clergy wellbeing is so poor, I do wonder if our public references to each other might be kinder.
"Never go back" or "The family want me to" ... take funerals in previous church. #Clergy #pastor dilemmas discussed with care in sheldonhub.org Anonymity assured.
