there are four major CB archetypes —The ‘Bulldog’ (rough, disruptive CBs like RUDIGER/ROMERO) —The ‘Visionary’ (vision/reading of space like VVD/SALIBA) —The ‘Baller’ (on-ball virtuosos like STONES/BASTONI) —The ‘Firefighter’ (puts out intensifying attacks like KONATE/ARAUJO)

Scouted Jair Cunha when he was playing in second division of the Brazilian League. He has arrived exactly as I predicted. Already the elite of the Prem in just a season. Most professional scouts can’t even give you this level of accuracy into the game. This is Timothy Heritage.
All my fellow Liverpool fans are a bit panicky & down since we lost out on Yoro. But We are Liverpool, we simply do not falter. Let me introduce to you The Talent to rival Leny Yoro. 1.98M (6’6) tall monster from Brazil & the best part we can get him for under 20M. Jair Paula.

The reason Sunderland are drowning is the same reason many other Premier League clubs & has been a huge cancer in football decision making circles forever. Sticking with the past: not using your new better signings to upgrade on old, comfortable staples who've been at the club.
Why are Sunderland so shit this season? Their squad isn’t even bad imo

The only real solution I can see on this is more authority for the sporting director who must be bold, demanding & the final authority on which player & role choices. The modern SD is shy background character who wants to hide in his little cocoon. This will simply not work.

What is the point of recruiting well if the manager doesn't understand or never wants to use the good signings that come in? If two decision makers at a club are not aligned in this manner, how can you expect success? You cannot have two opposing forces fighting each other.

The reason Villa isn’t struggling or stuck like Sunderland, Brighton or Newcastle is luck. Villa always find themselves in a dire, desperate situation with no safety so they are forced to innovate & create value with new signings like this season. This is why they bounce back.

Maybe having a financial hole which keeps them on the edge is a silver lining. Even with it you still have a backline of Lindelof, Torres & Cash that’s Belgian League level. They are a Mbaye & Alysson permanently ousting Mcginn & Buendia away from going up another level.

With Salah, he was an attacker & attackers have an objective value system which is G/A therefore all the ‘Salah is stiff’ ‘He’s not technical’ ‘He can’t dribble or pass’ ‘bomb first touch’ lies can be shut down easier. Unfortunately Szoboszlai as a midfielder does not.

Szobo and Salah in the same sentence😂😂,Your head needs a wobble,He was literally the best of a terrible team which isn’t an achievement and he didn’t single-handedly do anything for us last season

He was the second best player in our title winning 24/25 season but people lied & shifted that credit to others. He was our best the next by an obscene distance but apparently all the superb other aesthetic players in Liverpool had an off year so it doesn’t count.

There was a reason Salah before he left appointed Szobo as his heir. He not only called him one of the best players in the world, he also pressed in the fact that we had to rely on him if we was to have any chance at winning a trophy but hey what does Salah know?

He only looked good in the 10 cause the creativity responsibilities were on Salah and Trent. He kept it basic and pressed like a maniac, that’s why he looked good in there, cause of Salah and Trent not cause of his sole no.10 abilities.

The Liverpool Conspiracy. Szoboszlai is the only other player to singlehandedly carry us to UCL. Isn’t it interesting how Szobo hate has snowballed out of nowhere just like with Salah last season? Both after both players singlehandedly carried us in a POTY season.
Salah gave everything for this club, yet some Liverpool fans were eager to discard him. We’ll never have a player like him again and that’s okay. Once in a lifetime player.

Almost like someone’s using some Liverpool fans stupidity + arrogance combo against them souring their best players & eventually ending with Liverpool being a weaker team without them. We managed to save Salah in 2024 from the hate & win the Prem, I doubt we can save Szoboszlai.
