Storm Tracker 3 is now southbound on 135. We鈥檝e run into a much heavier band of snowfall. Snow has been blowing on the road, but not sticking. Visibility has been the biggest concern for us so far.

We have seen several plows out this evening. Sedgwick County Public Works said this event is different than the last because this powdery snow is easier to clear off roads than the wet snow we saw last month.

Powdery snowfall is blowing across roadways this evening. This is causing drifts on the side of roadways, like we are seeing on K42. Road conditions are not great with plenty of slick spots, especially on side roads.
