And for all those worried about potential locker room problems, I don't think that'll really be a thing.
Everyone understands the business side of things and he was just part of a Stanley Cup championship team. That's a special bond they all share.
Gostisbehere just a few weeks ago was saying how he missed him and hoped to see him back soon.

Friedman says Winnipeg wanted immediate forward help in Hellebuyck trade - mentioned Stankoven, Jarvis, Blake - but obviously Carolina was never going to move one of those guys.
Says Canes tried to broker a three-team trade to acquire a forward from elsewhere for their futures package to then flip to Winnipeg, but it just never came to fruition.
Saturday Headlines:
Hellebuyck loose ends, status quo in Detroit & Capitals give Miroshnichenko permission to explore a trade

Just now seeing this, but Kochetkov stopping the breakaway early in the second meant he won the staring contest. Hope he finishes as strong as he started.

They wanted Stank or Jarvis??? Hard pass 😂
Pierre LeBrun on ''Aux 4 coins de la LNH'' (french show) about Carolina: The Stanley Cup champions, who had a lot of interest in Connor Hellebuyck, but according to my sources, they weren’t willing to pay a certain price. The Jets wanted a young forward from the core, someone a bit like Dawson Mercer, but perhaps even better than Dawson Mercer, whom they’d acquired from New Jersey. I don’t know exactly who that would have been from Carolina, but it could have been either Stankoven or Seth Jarvis. Obviously, the Hurricanes weren’t willing to do that. - 20/23 #CarolinaCulture #GoJetsGo #NJDevils #NHL

Just a silly bitch that though she had a chance with Aho until he started to shoot his shots.
