Today I’m in Glasgow, representing Wales in the National Economic Council.
This is the Prime Minister’s opportunity to prove his commitment to a respect agenda that works both ways.
That means pledging not to bypass the Senedd, and not to treat Wales effectively as a region of England.
I will be urging the Prime Minister to pursue a range of measures to improve the lives of the people of Wales.
These include:
📈 proposing a new Growth Partnership between the Welsh and UK Governments to boost prosperity in all parts of our nation.
💰 A fairer funding settlement.
🏴 Parity of powers with Scotland through a new Wales Bill.
🚂 And delivering without delay on the £14bn rail funding commitment the UK Government has already made to Wales.
To name but a few.
Under a Plaid Cymru Welsh Government, Wales will never be silent on the issues that matter to our communities.

Ruští vojáci vylézali z plynovodu poblíž Kupjansku. Uniformy měli pokryté špínou a vzdávali se ukrajinským jednotkám.
Ukrajinský sbor Chartija během operace Veles zajal více než 30 ruských vojáků.
Operace zahrnovala odvážný podzemní postup dlouhý přes 15 kilometrů.
Ruské síly používaly plynovody k přesunu vojáků a zásob mimo dohled ukrajinských dronů. Ukrajina však tuto skrytou trasu obrátila proti nim.
Podle výpovědí zajatců strávili ruští vojáci přibližně šest týdnů uvěznění v zablokované části potrubí, než jim došlo jídlo, voda a munice.
Stísněný prostor, omezená viditelnost a žádná úniková cesta.

A Senior Director at MSFT (good friend of mine) just sent me internal messages between MSFT & some of its employees.
Today, Microsoft just asked THOUSANDS of its employees to voluntarily resign, despite just reporting $133.7B in net income for FY26, up 31%.
Employees are questioning why MSFT isn’t pro-actively downsizing by removing H1B employees before American workers.
Other employees are asking why any employee cuts are being made when profits are so high.
