Well done to George Lyon and the team behind the Strathcyde @The_RHASS Presidency for a wonderful Harvest Thanksgiving Service at Glasgow Cathedral. A forage harvester and (very shiny) tractor provided an impressive welcome at the Cathedral entrance and farmers had donated produce and a horse drawn plough (minus the horse!) for the display inside. A civic reception hosted by the Lord Provost of Glasgow followed the service which marks the start of Strathclyde’s year with the presidency. RSABI are very pleased to be one of the charities selected to benefit from fundraising through the year and our thanks go to all involved. ❤️ #scottishfarming #Keeptalking #community #kindness #makingadifference

Well done to @The_RHASS, @scottishfarmer, @AgriScot and the irrepressible Cammy Wilson of The Sheep Game for a simply superb night of celebrating many of the exceptional people who make our Scottish farming community so special. We are hugely grateful that RSABI was chosen as the charity to support on the night and our CEO Carol McLaren is pictured giving an update on the work of the charity. Also pictured is James Logan, Chair of RHASS, who reminded everyone of the “spirit of collaboration, support and innovation which is deeply embedded in Scottish agriculture. We inspire each other to greater things.” Special thanks to Nina Holmes of Newsquest events. Wow, just wow Nina! 🤩 #keeptalking #scottishagriculturalawards #farming
