Married men live 10 years longer than single men. Earn 10-24% more. Are 135% more likely to report high life satisfaction. And have better sex. Anti-marriage content is copium for men who can't attract a wife.

Former client just sent me a picture from his engagement party. 14 months ago he was scrolling Twitter at 11PM thinking: "I should be able to figure this out myself." His fiancée? He already knew her when we started working together:

My client flirted with a girl at pickleball. Made her giggle. Got her number. Floated getting coffee, she seemed into it. Then she said no to the date. And when I saw the screenshot of how he tried to ask her out I saw the issue immediately. I've seen thousands of conversations between my clients and women at this point. And it was too dry, too logistical. I see men make this mistake all the time. You think you're scheduling a meeting. It might seem that way, but you're not. You're giving her a preview of the date. The logistics - the place, the time, the plan - are a vehicle for that feeling. A good date arranging message is what naturally happens when you stop thinking about scheduling the date and start thinking about her experience on it.

I've noticed that the guys still single at 30 did everything right. They put their career first. Were respectful towards women. Waited until they were "ready." But all this taught them to be is passive. Waiting for a woman to fall into their lap. She never did.

Women want a man who is above them in the pecking order Yet many men make the mistake of thinking this means more money, bigger muscles and a better job These things are proxies for what she really values: Money = ambition Muscles = strength Job = status Character trumps all

The men who find relationships hold two contradictory feelings at the exact same time: "I want this to work." And: "I'll be fine if it doesn't." These two beliefs pull you in opposite directions at the same time. That tension keeps you steady. If you lose the desire to make things work, you become cold and detached. She feels like you don't care. Lose the belief you'll be fine if things don't work out and you get needy. She can tell you're afraid of losing her. I watch this play out on calls every week. A guy goes on a great first date. He likes her. She's laughing. She brushes her arm against his... Then the fear creeps in: "Don't mess this up!" And the moment he starts trying not to lose her? He stops being present and starts performing. She doesn't know what changed, but she feels it nonetheless. The man who wants her AND would survive losing her? He's the one she can't stop thinking about. Not because he's playing games, but because he's the only guy she dates who's actually there.

You don't need to rely on bars or coffee shops for dates. My client last week took a girl on a walk around his local area. He's lived there all his life, she moved 2 years ago. This knowledge put him in a naturally confident frame. One he's struggled to achieve otherwise. They've got a 2nd date lined up. The best dates happen when you lean into who you are, not what you think you need to be.

I heard someone say the male biological clock is more spiritual than anything earlier today. And I think he's right. While a woman's fertility has hard, measurable deadlines, men don't in the same way. We don't suffer menopause and can technically father children into our 80s. The male biological clock is deeper: The growing awareness that you're not becoming who you're supposed to be. A 29-year-old dad wrestles with his kids on the floor, where a 50-year-old dad watches from the couch. While you can still MAKE a baby at 50, the father you'll be is a different man. It's missing the window where you're mature enough to lead a family, but young enough to have fire in you. Culture tells men you have unlimited time. Biologically this isn't wrong, but it misses the point. A man's biological clock says you're running out of time to become the man your children need.

Some dads just never said "I love you." These dads were dutiful. They worked. Provided. Were always there when needed, but there was no complimenting his wife. No "have a great day at school, son." It's what he learnt from HIS dad. But what does his son look like at 30 on a date? He asks safe questions. Doesn't share what he really thinks. Keeps the date focused on information, instead of feelings. It leaves him unable to escalate. Unable to tell his date she looks great. To flirt. Because he learned that emotions are private. She leaves the date thinking he's nice, but not interested in her. He learned that you show love through duty, not words. Which isn't wrong. But it's incomplete. These men can make great husbands. But duty doesn’t work on a woman who’s still making up her mind about you. So these guys get stuck in the dating stage. The words your dad never modelled are the ones your future son needs to hear.

The best marriages aren't between soulmates. My friend's parents disagree on everything. But his dad still makes his mum coffee every morning. She still irons his shirts without asking. They didn't magically find "the one". That's a movie script, not reality. No, they decided to BE the one. They woke up every day and chose to be that. For 40 years. Soulmate culture has women rejecting good men because they don't feel fireworks in the first 30 seconds. Marriage is one long conversation, not a series of explosions.

Greenflags we overlook because they don't shout: - Putting their phone away as soon as you start talking - Remembering something you mentioned in passing -- weeks later - Following up on the thing you mentioned you were stressed about - The way they talk about people who aren't in the room - Letting you finish your sentence - Saying "we" without thinking about it - Working out because they enjoy it - Forgiving you and then never bringing it up again - Saving you the last bite - Telling you what's wrong instead of going silent - Asking how your mom is doing - Talking about next year like you'll obviously be there The right person is consistent, not loud.

My client ignored my advice, and slept with a woman on the 2nd date. She ghosted him after. Their first date was electric. She was an opera singer. 26. Beautiful. Blonde. They couldn't stop staring at each other and ended with a passionate kiss. Second date started as the first one ended. They went to her apartment and he spent the night. When they woke up everything felt different. The conversation was stilted. And while the night before nothing could tear them apart, now nothing was drawing them together. She said "I really needed that. Give me a call," when he left. He never heard from her again. This is why I tell my clients to hold off on sex. Because there are two types of vulnerability in dating: Sexual and emotional. When you rush into sex you go all in on one, and skip the other. There's nowhere left to go physically, but emotionally you're still strangers. That gap creates a hollow feeling. For both of you. The tension that pulls you together overnight disappears. And without an emotional connection pulling you together, there's nothing left to hold onto. Which is why I tell every client: build both at the same pace. Otherwise you feel like my client did: Used.
