You can’t consistently generate offense when you’re constantly giving the puck away. Dump and chase has its place, but it cannot be your entire offensive strategy.
We have young, talented players who need the freedom to make plays, carry the puck, and use their skill.
I’m tired of hearing about effort, structure, and playing the right way. At some point, the results have to matter.
This isn’t the NHL of 20 years ago. Adapt or get left behind.
Something needs to change, and it starts behind the bench.

Instead, we’re watching a system that seems more concerned with grinding along the boards than actually creating scoring opportunities.
Good coaches adapt their systems to their players. They don’t force players into a system that isn’t working.
Can the @NHLFlyers not score under Coach Tocchet’s system? Do they just not want to? Who plays dump and chase anymore? Do we just not have the talent? I’m baffled.. 51 years and counting!
Thank you, Flyers, for bringing playoff hockey back to Philly when nobody thought it was possible. I’ve been here through the dark years, sticking it out as a long-time fan, and this run meant more than words can say. @NHLFlyers
What makes it even better is that this is just the beginning. The Flyers iced one of the youngest groups in the league this year, and it showed every night in their energy, speed, and fearlessness.
While the series didn’t go our way, it proved that this group is on the rise and belongs on this stage.
So yeah, it hurts now—but it’s a different kind of hurt. It’s the kind that comes when you know something special is being built and you’ve gotten a glimpse of what’s coming.
They went toe-to-toe with a powerhouse Carolina team all season and playoffs, playing them eight times and dragging them to overtime in six of those battles, including their final game of the series.
Cam York just pulled a Ben Simmons. Wide open in front of the net.. he passes the puck. WTF @NHLFlyers
