The Election Commission has filed its reply in the Supreme Court to the petition on how the three-member Commission functions.
27 pages, approved by all three members. Its argument: every decision was unanimous, and a Commissioner’s note is a “suggestion,” not a decision.
Here’s what it addresses, and what it doesn’t.

No surprise - people like these are a true reflection of a morally corrupt society.
While Pappu is away enjoying his Vietnam trip, his gang is busy spreading insinuations and manufacturing controversies back home.
Hardeep Singh Puri has acknowledged meeting Epstein in a professional capacity. Epstein interacted with plenty of powerful people across the world, but a photograph or a meeting alone is not proof of wrongdoing.
If Congress has anything substantial to show, let them put the evidence on the table instead of recycling old photographs and dressing up insinuations as exposés.
When you have no real issues to raise, creating a political circus is apparently the next best option.

This low life sanghi anchoress sinks to new depths daily but this will remain gold! One day post Amritkaal she will have to digest the fact that in her zest to defend the regime she ended up as the most passionate apologist for a pedophile!

Chronicles of a truth foretold!
“When constitutional bodies meant to safeguard the citizen's vote trade their independence for official favors, they commit an act of treason far deadlier than open tyranny.
They murder the republic from behind the seal of the law.”

Sorry to interrupt your Sunday, friends.
I really hesitated to write this, but if I don’t speak up today, I will be facing a severe financial crisis within a week or two.
To be clear, I am not asking for charity or financial help. I am asking for work.
I have been completely without work for the last three months. My last project ended on June 30th, and since then I have knocked on every door I know—calling, texting, meeting contacts, and following up.
People say they will try, but after that first talk, the silence takes over. Calls go unanswered or get cut after a couple of rings. I honestly don't know whether the industry is shifting because of AI or if my age (52) is working against me, but despite over 13 years of solid experience in the field, nothing has materialized.
Now, my savings are down to the very end. I can barely hold out for another week or two.
I am a professional content writer, translator, and speaker who is comfortable on stage and in front of the camera. I write and translate fluently across Gujarati, Hindi, and English, with Gujarati being my strongest suit.
Many of you already know my grasp of politics and my political writing, but I am equally adept at covering Bollywood and cricket. My priority is media houses, digital platforms, or publications, but I am open to any genuine writing or translation opportunity.
I can work remotely or take up assignments on-site anywhere in Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, as I need to be close to my elderly mother to take care of her health.
Because my situation is urgent, I am especially looking for quick-turnaround freelance assignments or immediate projects where payments can be settled on submission.
If you or anyone in your circle has work, please reach out to me directly in my DMs.
A humble, earnest request: while I deeply value your warmth, please refrain from sending just "best wishes" or "stay strong" messages right now. I am fighting hard to stay out of a very dark headspace, and right now, only actual work leads can pull me through.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and thank you for your support. My inbox is open. 🙏

It is not mandatory to vote. It is not mandatory to register to vote. But all citizens have the right to vote. If you put these three together, it should be obvious that one person's right to vote is not in any way connected to whether their father or mother had such a right decades ago or exercised it.
All the EC needs is one's own documents to register to vote. And if a person has already done that to get on the roll earlier, it is silly to first delete them and then ask them to do it again simply because their father was not on the roll eons ago.
As a result, in searching for everyone's fathers, the EC has itself been the father of needless harassment. And for this madness, they pulled hundreds of thousands of teachers out of schools and made them conduct an exercise that has nothing to do with their jobs, while the students who depend on them were left in the lurch.
The whole exercise is a disgrace.

#Watch | Booth Level Officers received bulk Form-7 applications seeking deletion of Muslim names. They were reported at at least six polling stations in Belagavi North Assembly constituency — four in Veerabhadra Nagar (polling parts 194, 195, 196 and 199) and two at the Government Kannada Higher Primary School in Shettigali (polling parts 209 and 210). BLOs at these stations told The Hindu that two men, claiming to be from the Belagavi City Corporation, brought a bulk of Form-7 applications seeking deletion of only Muslim names. The voters’ names and other details were pre-filled, while the objectors’ names were either handwritten or left blank.

On Tuesday, the Election Commission said all was well:
The 14 objections by two of its three members were "suggestions," every decision was "unanimous."
With in 48 hours, on Saturday, it issued NINE decisions. Read them against the 14 notes. It's a U-TURN, not in what it says, but in what it does.
And it still leaves some hard Qs unanswered.
Stay with me.
