Teaching children confidence is helping them build a positive self-image, which helps them feel happier and feel capable in school, in their goals and when confronted with problems.

Confidence and self esteem is what helps our children try something new, have a go and feel secure if something doesn’t go a certain way. It is important that we build their confidence.

Great question @Thinkably_org . I wrote a book published with Pearson on how we could revamp assessments in ways that are intelligence fair:-) Let's start by exchanging the inaccurate question: HOW SMART ARE YOU? to ask instead, HOW ARE YOU SMART? That would launch growth? You?

Great point Dr Weber! The image of different types of animals being made to climb a tree comes to mind... is it that our education systems and grading needs an overhaul? 💭 🤔 #ThinkablyChats

It’s a case for grades or grace! Can’t be both! We build wiggle room for confidence when we open kinder, gentler spaces Our warring rivalries that cut out our confidence increase when we are pitted against unfair or warring forces as fostered in education. brainleadersandlearners.com/
Q2. Is there a confidence crisis in children?

As a parent of 3 children we have always tried to make sure we keep track and help our children stay safe online. Its very easy to lose track and there is much danger online so please all take time to keep assessing.
It's crucial for young minds to understand the dangers that could occur on the web, and that's the aim of today - #SaferInternetDay 🎉
Within our library, head over to 'Tech Anxiety' and help children to learn how to browse the internet safely!
