Every clickbaiter on this hellsite comparing early in person voting to previous years, go straight to jail.
Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.
This is the most OBVIOUSLY unpredictive thing of the cycle, for hecks sale.

I want every dog owner to hear this: every dog who has violently attacked me, someone I know, or a dog I was walking had an owner that assured me this never happens and their dog is safe. Your assessment of your own dog means nothing to me. I don’t trust you to evaluate your dog’s safety. Just put it on a damn leash, and don’t be a tiny woman with a dog that can easily overpower you. I don’t care how well you “know your dog”. That’s what every owner of a shitty dog says.
I genuinely do think there are a lot of basically good people who have never really thought about the ways in which they are behaving badly as dog owners, because nobody ever really calls them out for it.
If your dog is ever off leash, you are being antisocial and behaving badly. If your dog ever jumps on somebody who didn’t specifically ask for that to happen, then you are behaving antisocially (even if the dog is just being “friendly”). If you have an invisible fence in your yard, but your dog comes running right up to the line at full speed only to stop at the last minute and bark at everybody who walks by, then you are behaving antisocially. Honestly, even behind a fence, this is an aggressive and annoying imposition on anybody walking by.
If somebody has ever respond with fear or annoyance at something your dog has done and you’ve reflexively protested, “oh don’t worry, he won’t hurt you” or “he’s friendly” then that’s antisocial behavior. (You should just simply say, “I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have done that, I won’t let it happen again” and then you should work to actually make it not happen again. Telling people not to worry, that you think your dog is just peachy, is bad behavior.)
This is all bad behavior. It’s all antisocial. And I have these experiences with dogs and their owners routinely. This is all extremely common stuff.

Remember who and what you're voting for this year could make all these passenger rail routes happen:

I was in a restaurant bathroom yesterday that was unisex with individually doored stalls (as in, proper doors). I think 6 stalls, labeled ‘sit’/‘stand’. Then a large shared row of sinks. I thought it was a nice design to maximize capacity in a limited space.

It totally kicks ass that I can get on a train in Albuquerque at 2:19pm, ride the 60 miles to Santa Fe in comfort, hit the George RR Martin Sky Railways scenic RR, have a great meal, and catch the 9pm train back to ABQ. What a day! And it started in CLE, flying through ORD

The fietsvlonder (bike platform) has been reshaping Rotterdam streets for a decade.
It swaps one car parking space for a temporary structure that accommodates a dozen bicycles.
If successful after a few months, the curb is permanently rebuilt, and it moves to the next location.
I think it’s important to keep in mind that whichever side “wins” this argument, lots of people are going to be very angry. No truly good answer when the length of daylight varies so much over the course of the year.

Yes. Waking up in the dark sucks. Please note that we did already try to go to permanent daylight savings time in the early 70s and people HATED IT! It was supposed to be a two year experiment and people hated it so much that they canceled it after one year.

Second time this series a blown call on what should have been an inning-ending third strike was followed by multiple runs.

a car lane on a city street moves somewhere between 600 and 1,600 people an hour. a protected bike lane can move 7,500. a bus lane can do 8,000. we keep picking the option with the worst numbers and calling everyone who notices an ideologue

Fareless transit doesn't redistribute wealth from the rich to the working class.
It redistributes transit's inherently finite operating budget away from running service.

Oh that’s a good idea. Thank you
