Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel is enthusiastically lobbying our medical system to entrust AI to become our primary physicians. As a physician who has practiced internal medicine for nearly 30 years, I appreciate Emanuel’s enthusiasm.
But he is simply wrong.

Big 12 statement:
"Following the Big 12’s review of the final play of Saturday’s Notre Dame-BYU game, it was determined that time remained on the clock when the ball hit the ground and the play was incorrectly cleared by the replay officiating crew. The Conference will conduct a complete review of its end-of-game officiating process in advance of next week's games."

BYU 💯% got away with pass interference on the last play of the game vs Notre Dame.

Friends, I had the incredible opportunity today to speak at the @USinHolySee on a theme that's been on my mind and heart a lot as a Catholic bishop and as an American—the connection between the ideals of the American Founders and Catholic tradition.

It seems to me that there are two things, above all, that will turn the tide of AI-mediated cheating in schools & universities: in-class blue book essays & a well-formed Conscience. But even the former can be corrupted without a supreme attention to the latter.

I sat down with my good friend, film producer and media mogul Rob Kaczmark for a wide ranging discussion about Catholicism, film making, social media, favorite movies, and much more.
Catholic media can’t just speak to Catholics.
On the newest Flicker & Burn, I sit down with @FrSteveGrunow of @WordOnFire for a great conversation about the state of Catholic media, film, beauty, social media, and why the Church needs to take more creative risks.
We also talk about Heaven in Stone and Glass and what it will take for Catholics to become a serious force in art and culture again.
