The majority of the fraud in the DME sector comes from CGM and Bracing.
Most of the fraud is sham companies that ONLY entered the DME world during the madness of COVID - post closure of 40% of nationwide legacy DME companies during the awful DME Competitive Bidding Program
For an administration that was wholly “anti-bureaucracy” this @CMSGov competitivive bidding resurgence sure is a kick in the teeth. Almost as bad as this “pro 2A” attorney general…
Despite thousands of of public comments opposing the program. @CMSGov is pushing through another round of DME competitive bidding. Another stalwart effort by @aahomecare our national lobbying group. Looks like we got exactly… what?
I just burned through 10,000 gallons of water so some data center could grant @grok enough agency to create the Baron Vladimir Harkonnen eating deviled eggs.
I regret nothing.
Gonna give my 10 year old Goldendoodle a 9mg zyn because he seems like he really wants one… Will report.

I recently got this letter from our pediatrician about @UHC. If this can happen to me it can happen to everyone, and that’s why it’s wrong.
A week left for comments on @CMSGov disasterous “new” Competitve Bidding proposed rule…
A fair price? Award winning economists have been telling us for years current prices were unsustainable. This was before runaway inflation post Covid.
Not to mention the last time prices went in favor of providers @CMSGov suspended the program.
Providers have to bid reality

I want to know which accreditation organization signed off on all of them
If there’s a common denominator, clean up from there rather than punish all of us

The more I read this the madder I get. This list of names reads like a B-list action movie.
The damage done with Comp Bidding and the subsequent open season post Covid has led us here.
The MACs and @CMSGov need to review all provider numbers issued in the last 36 months.

Cool. Glad to see @CMSGov doubling/tripling down on an already proven failed program that has decimated home medical equipment over the past decade.

Listened to a Bari Weiss debate re: the future of truth under AI and not a single panelist acknowledged the fact that future AI may not want to help us…
As the kids say, “we are cooked”.
With all this talk of UHC and potential fraud in the Medicare Advantage space, it’s worth mentioning they are continuing to expand all their MA business in the DME sector to a startup “subcontracting/outsourcing” company called Synapse.
🤔🤔🤔
