What’s interesting about Aajonus’s story is that he was so much in pain that he started eating raw animal foods in the hope that it kills him but instead it healed him.
Aajonus Vonderplanitz was given weeks to live at twenty-one.
He had gone through surgery for a stomach tumor, then radiation, then chemotherapy. The treatments left him with multiple myeloma, blood and bone cancers, and a body that was failing. Doctors stopped offering options. He stopped accepting them. He left the hospital and began drinking raw carrot juice and raw milk. The decline slowed. He later added raw meat. He said the change was the one that mattered.
He spent the next decades eating the same way: raw beef, raw fish, raw eggs, raw cream, raw butter, and vegetable juices. He called it the Primal Diet. He wrote books describing what he had done and what he claimed others could do. He fought legal cases to keep raw milk available. He lived on the diet himself.
In August 2013 he was at a farmhouse in Thailand. He walked onto a balcony to empty rinse water from a wound on his hand. The railing gave way. He fell and died days later at sixty-six.
He had refused the last treatment the doctors offered. He had kept eating the food he said had kept him alive. The railing broke.
You are a collectivist criminal for spouting such nonsense.

I’m so glad bitcoin twitter is back. With all its dramas and issues, at least it’s not nearly as delusional as the AI twitter.

A common response is “if they truly believe this, why are they still building it?” At OpenAI, many have not deeply internalized the civilizational stakes. At Anthropic, the stakes are well-understood, but they are locked in a race to get there first - they believe no one else will act responsibly, so they must do it themselves, despite the risk.
This is precisely why travel is a skill. You can do and experience much more than just that if you know what you’re doing while travelling.
modern travel is increasingly flying 10 hours to experience a slightly different version of the same globally optimized lifestyle.
same third wave coffee. same natural wine bar. same brutalist menu. same sourdough. same beige hotel. same tasteful ceramics. same instagram lighting.
what a ridiculous convergence.

The insanity was induced by the drugs, so her psychiatrist & pharmaceutical company should be found guilty along with her. That'd fix the overprescription & mental health crises pretty quickly, as the only actual mental illness is taking psychiatric medication.

THE SOVEREIGN REVOLUTION
I believe Bitcoin is the beginning of the Sixth Technological Revolution in the framework of @pmarca's favorite economist, @CarlotaPrzPerez.
Tell me why I'm wrong!
Remember “DOGE” 😂
BREAKING: The US Government officially posts its largest July budget deficit in history, at -$432 billion, due to an acceleration in federal spending.
Interest on US debt rose +$26 billion from last July's levels to an alarming $118 billion for the month.
This puts total interest expense for FY2026 up to $1.17 trillion in FY2026.
As a result, interest expense has officially surpassed both National Defense and Medicare spending.
In other words, the US government now spends more money just on interest than it does to fund the entire US Military or to provide healthcare for seniors.
We cannot afford higher interest rates.
Following the Coldcard vulnerability disclosure, we're already seeing an increase in phishing attempts.

Can we stop calling this shit “postpartum depression” ?? No need to make up words for everything.
This is simply a lunatic criminal.
Right now, there is a trial happening in Boston that is being televised where a mother with postpartum psychosis killed her 3 young children before slashing her own wrists and jumping out of a second floor window, which ended up paralyzing her from the waist down.
Her psychosis took off after the birth of her 3rd child, right before she was scheduled to return to work as a labor and delivery nurse. She was being treated with medication, daily appointments with her doctors and a stint at McLean Psychiatric Hospital. She is the one who begged for help. She committed this crime on the day her husband left the house for 1/2 hour to get groceries because she seemed to be doing better.
The fact that this woman is on trial when she was clearly out of her mind is unconscionable. The fact that she, her husband and even the first responders are being forced to relive the event is also unconscionable. One of the jurors asked to be removed because he couldn’t handle it.
Out of all the things though, the most unconscionable of unconscionable things is the way we treat mothers and their babies in this country.
From @taprootbirth
“Postpartum depression is a condition affecting the neurotransmitters in a person's brain. It is also caused by lack of presence, care and community. In many traditional cultures it is taught that a new mother should never be left alone with her babies. She needs the co-regulation of wise women/people. She needs grounded humans who feed her, make sure she is hydrated, clean her sink, brew her tea, ladle her soup, and play with her other children. Someone to sit with her, share stories, and make her laugh. Help her remember she is human.
A mother who is left alone with her babies postpartum has the cognitive impact of a person who has survived war. Her body thinks she has been abandoned by her community.”
If there is something good to come out of this, let it be the end of the expectation that caregiving is something that we consider as a last priority after all the other things. Because it’s fucking time.

Important security update for anyone using a COLDCARD.
A serious vulnerability has been disclosed involving the randomness used by some @COLDCARDwallet devices when generating Bitcoin seeds.
If you use one, move your bitcoin to a new seed generated elsewhere.
