Let's talk about thylacines.
The last known #thylacine died on this day in 1936 - it was accidentally locked out of the indoor part of its enclosure at a #Hobart zoo, and died of exposure.
A 🧵based on stories of how we've represented thylacines, from my #PlatypusMatters book...

Got a jam into today that was completely unscheduled. My bro who drums for us, his missus just had their first baby, so when he rang me and said I'm free today and want to bash the kit, we made it work as a 3 piece 👍🤘

What’s this? A new band?
During a time with gigs cancelled, and musicians not sure what to do, it’s important to keep our heads high and keep creating. We have been working on this for 15 months and it’s time to unleash it to the world. Give us as follow. #metal
Under Chaos, over the next few days we will be giving you an introduction of who we are and give you a taste of the music to come. We have an album worth of songs to deliver to the world, which will break down the barriers of all things metal. So give us a follow! #Metal

Our backyard show was a success yesterday. It was pretty hot, but we smashed through our tunes and good times were had by all
Big thanks to everyone who came along to check out the show
Also, an extra 🍻 to the neighbour who threatened to call the cops 🤣🤘

Soundcheck session for an invite only rehearsal show we're doing at the end of Nov. Things went well, new songs are fkn awesome to play, new space is great & we can't wait to get our vocalist, Death Metal Poet to Melbourne, from South Australia, for the show.
