First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity and guiding me every step of the way. Thank you to my family, especially my dad, for all the love, support, and sacrifices youโve made for me since I was a kid. Thank you to all my coaches and teammates who have been part of my journey. Iโm blessed to see my childhood dream become a reality. With that being said, Iโm excited to announce that Iโm committed to Mississippi State University!

Before we decide what an athlete needs, we want a clear picture of how they move, how they produce force, and what the ball is actually doing. Motion capture, force plates, ball flight data, and performance testing all help us build that picture.
From there, the coaching takes over. We build the plan, work through it with the athlete, and continue making adjustments based on how theyโre moving, performing, and responding over time.
The technology gives us better information, but the value comes from knowing what to do with it.

โStaying closedโ isnโt always something that can be fixed with a mechanical cue. Early rotation can be the result of an athlete losing the ability to sustain and direct force through the drive phase.
When that happens, the body has to find another way to keep the delivery moving.
This is why understanding why a movement is happening matters just as much as identifying what is happening. Fix the underlying constraint and the mechanical change often becomes much easier to achieve.
At some point in almost every pitcherโs career, theyโve been told to โstay closed longer.โ
Sometimes that is a minor timing issue.
But more often, early rotation is a downstream effect, not the root problem.
If an athlete canโt sustain and express force in the frontal (Y) direction during the drive phase, rotation shows up early as a compensation.
Mound force-plate data consistently shows that pitchers who maintain frontal plane force longer stay in the drive phase, delay rotation, and sequence more efficiently into foot strike. When that force drops off early, the window for energy transfer shortens.
These are a few exercises we use to improve frontal plane force production and expression:
โข Step-back rotational medicine ball scoop toss
โข Lateral lean landmine split squat
โข Lateral sled drag
โข Alternating landmine lateral lunge
โข High-effort side shuffle

This is one of those arms that makes you excited about the future.
The lower release height creates natural deception, allowing the arsenal to play above the raw metrics. The ball gets on hitters quickly, and the pitch characteristics give him a chance to miss barrels and generate uncomfortable at-bats.
Thereโs still plenty of projection left. As he continues to add strength and refine his delivery, this is an arm with legitimate upside.
Still very much scratching the surface.
