Cason Wallace Career - Marcus Smart to Eddie Jones?
Looking at Cason's stats of PTS, REB, AST, STL, and 3s per 36 minutes in his first 3 seasons, and comparing historically those were the reasonable ranges I found.
Low End - Marcus Smart
6th overall pick who at his peak was the DPOY, and a starter for a team that made deep playoff runs. Smart never developed a consistent shot, but had an impactful career.
High End - Eddie Jones
10th overall pick (as was Cason) who peaked as an All-Star and All-Defensive player. The rate stats (except PTS) between the two are spot on, as are the FG% and 3PT%.
Cason getting as many points, is unlikely, but not impossible for him to get into the mid-teens. Eddie's stats look a little better overall as he was playing 39 minutes a game at his peak.
Just a last stat of how young Cason Wallace is. He is entering his 4th season tomorrow and will be 22 years and 347 years old. Eddie Jones was 23 years and 15 years old in his first career NBA game.
