Evaluate after the season??? What the fuck you think you are gonna learn after 12 games that you don't already know after 9? – at Madison Heights, MI
Kyle Whittingham on if there is decision to make about Jason Beck's position as offensive coordinator: "Not right here right now as I sit at the podium... but we'll evaluate everything after the season... This is a results oriented business and we aren't getting results"
There's a new version of this post
Jason Beck already deserved to be fired. If Whittingham is unwilling to acknowledge his mistake, he deserves to be fired, too.
Excluding the money I spent actually attending the school twice... between season tickets, seat licenses plus additional donations and traveling to see U-M play all over the country, I have spent AT LEAST $100K on Michigan football over the last 20 years. I know there are plenty of diehards out there, but I am about as diehard as they come.
But even I have limits. Put a shitty product on the field, with games that don't matter because everything is about the playoff and cater everything about the game to the TV audience... they're making it really hard to want to go.
I'm perfectly fine with a mere deportation back to Utah, pending further investigation, which should take at least a month, perhaps through the new year just to be safe

Dillon Dingler has won the AL Gold Glove award at catcher, again. He joins Iván Rodríguez (2006-07), Lance Parrish (1983-85) and Bill Freehan (1965-69) as Tigers catchers to win back-to-back Gold Gloves.
I mean this with all sincerity...
How is it possible that we have technology that allows to communicate with someone on the other side of the world via something that fits in our pocket, cars that can drive themselves, and computers that can form their own thoughts and talk back to us...
but it took til 2026 for someone to say "hey, we could solve this stale cereal problem by using those bags that people buy to store stuff in"?
I didn't go into the same detail like Bill does, but the takeaways are obvious. Jason Beck rode Devon Dampier to success at two stops, and has turned a solid offense with lots of upside into an awful one, while torpedoing this season that *SHOULD* have been headed for playoffs
P.P.S. This is about Michigan's offensive coordinator Jason Beck, not MLB.com's @beckjason , who is still an awesome beat writer (tho probably also currently annoyed with Chelsea unable to score on the Spurs)
I am *shocked* that the play call with Bryce didn't work, when he had to stand there for 3 seconds to let the multiple end around fakes that no one buys run by
YES!
Players should sign multi-year deals when they sign coming out of HS, with built-in escalators and incentives. And if a player wants to transfer, the school he's going to has to compensate the school that developed him.
This should become the new way in which smaller programs will fund their NIL.
NEW: Duke head coach Manny Diaz tells @AndyAriOn3 that schools should receive a "transfer fee" when players portal:
"If you sign a bunch of great recruits and you develop them and they go somewhere else, I'll go back to European soccer. You should receive a transfer fee."
If I were Hilton or Marriott... I would just have a team of people scanning Twitter/Reddit all day for these types of issues, and boost the hell out of the posts to highlight all of the awful experiences.
And then chime in with a reminder that you could just book a hotel.
thanks @Airbnb for cancelling the rest of my stay after i asked for compensation for unusable wifi. now i’m being told to leave TODAY, with two weeks left that i already paid for (way more than 700$) and nowhere else booked. apparently asking for working wifi was too much.

Outside of the fact that this tweet just wreaks of misogyny, I don't understand the problem. She's on the sideline, actively taking notes on the game, and during a break, asked the coach that WORKS FOR HER a question.
1. As the owner, she's allowed to do pretty much whatever she wants.
2. If she has a question about something, the coach should be able to easily answer who/what/why. If he can't, that says far more about the coach than her.
3. Sheila Ford Hamp (Lions owner) is actively involved in the Lions. And we've seen on social media videos that she will ask questions of her coach and GM. We've never seen her be rude or demeaning, but asking about the thought process and decision-making, things a good boss can and should do.
Colts Owner Carlie Irsay-Gordon is asking coaches why plays were called in London 😂
Imagine having her as an owner 😳
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Carlie Irsay-Gordon has observed Colts sideline communications with a headset and playbook for over a decade to learn operations, not to question or direct coaches about specific plays. This practice long predates the London game and does not involve interference.
