Let's talk about the @FungoLabs Genesis public auction.
Fungo is taking a different route with a sealed-bid auction powered by @zama 's technology.
The auction starts November 5 at 15:30 UTC and runs for 24 hours, ending November 6.
So, how does it work?:
PLACE YOUR BID:
You choose how many Genesis NFTs you want and how much you're willing to pay for each.
You'll be using cZAMA to place your bid.
Your bid amount and the number of NFTs you want will remain hidden while the auction is ongoing.
Other participants won't be able to see what you're bidding.
HOW THE FINAL PRICE IS DECIDED:
Once the auction ends, all bids are ranked from the highest to the lowest.
The bid that fills the last available NFT sets the final price.
And here's the interesting part: everyone who wins pays the same final price, even if they placed a higher bid.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DON'T WIN?:
No worries. If your bid is below the final winning price, you won't get an NFT, but your cZAMA will be refunded.
That's pretty much how the Fungo Genesis auction works.

@FungoLabs is bringing its first NFT collection to life, and there are a few things worth knowing before the mint.
ABOUT THE COLLECTION
Fungo Genesis is a collection of 3,232 NFTs built on Ethereum using Zama's FHE technology.
The interesting part is that your NFT can stay private.
Its artwork and traits are encrypted, and you can choose whether to make the artwork public.
MINT DETAILS
The supply is split into three parts:
- 500 NFTs for the free mint
- 2,500 NFTs for the public sale
- 232 NFTs reserved for the team.
FREE MINT
There are 500 free-mint spots for whitelist holders and people nominated by the team.
The mint is free, but you'll still need to pay gas. It's also one NFT per approved wallet.
PUBLIC SALE
The remaining 2,500 NFTs will be sold through a sealed-bid auction using cZAMA.
You choose how much you're willing to pay and how many NFTs you want.
Your bid stays hidden while the auction is open, so other people won't know what you're bidding.
Once the auction ends, the bids are ranked, and everyone who wins pays the same final price.
If your bid doesn't make it, your cZAMA will be refunded.

that’s an interesting direction @FungoLabs is exploring.
Blockchain transparency is important, but it shouldn’t mean every detail has to be exposed to the public.
with FungoLabs, ownership and transactions can remain publicly verifiable while the NFT’s actual content stays private until the holder decides to reveal it.
