I have been detained by Israeli security forces all day. Along with with MPs @labourlewis, @larabirdsnp, MSP Kate Nevans, former MP @SamTarry and campaigners from across the world, we were turned back because they don’t want anyone seeing their ethnic cleansing.

Analysis published in the British Medical Journal has warned there could be 200,000 avoidable deaths in England to complete the terms of the UK-US trade deal.
This is because the NHS will have to divert £45 billion from essential services to pay for new medicines under the terms of the deal agreed last December.

The government has just advised businesses not to trade with illegal Israeli settlements.
But with no consequences for businesses that refuse to comply, this is a cop out.
We need a complete ban on trade with illegal settlements, and sanctions targeting the illegal occupation.

The UK-US pharma deal is woefully short-sighted. It risks costing the NHS billions, undermining NICE’s independence, and pushing up medicine prices under pressure from Trump's bullying and Big Pharma's lobbying. The result will be thousands of lives unnecessary lost.
Parliament must have its say. Transparency is non-negotiable.
