How to deal with difficulties in life.
Lessons from the Stoics.
There are three strategies used by the Stoics that have worked for thousands of years:
Check out Episode 1 of the Paddler.NZ heroes project. Good bunch of athletes and support staff to work with. Also worth looking at some of the other events going on over here too, the Kahawai championships also a lot of fun.

He’s won Olympic gold and he’s been at the front line in hospital A&E. Dr @TimBrabants moved to coach in New Zealand in January. Interesting to hear about life there and his thoughts on the pandemic 🎧 player.captivate.fm/episode/…

We've had some amazing alumni from our medicine courses over the years and that includes Olympic gold medallists! Here's the great message we received from @TimBrabants as we celebrate #50YearsOfMedicine!
Just finished 10 days of @F45Training at the Cambridge gym in NZ. Brilliant place, motivating team and great instructors. Best training I have done in a long time!
Put in a time for the NZ virtual surfski 12km challenge today with Colonel Mustard. Flat water fun. Love my @nelokayaks double ski and @BracaSport paddles. Check out paddler.nz and enter too.
Uh oh! I best get out my fastest paddling gear!
My time was 22’03”. I didn’t regulate the pace very well and went way too fast at the beginning, and then paid the prize. 😅
I nominate some good old friends like @caldavid_ @evlars @kennyWalrus @analog79 & @TimBrabants to take part in the challenge. —

As the sun sets in Plovdiv I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved on camp. After a grotty winter I’ve completed 💯 % of sessions & even found a bit of speed. Couldn’t & wouldn’t be here without teammates, staff, family & friends. BIG shout to @Matt_Lawrence01 👏🏼
