Our drug of choice these days is knowing who we are better than. Comparison gives us a quick hit of relief. Find someone who is doing worse, and we feel superior. Find someone who is doing better, and we feel small. Either way, we remain trapped on the scoreboard.

Grace is offensive to the religious because it leaves no room for boasting. It tells the moral person that his morality doesn’t give him a leg up as far as God is concerned. It tells the failure that his failure can’t disqualify him. Grace puts everyone on the same level: needy

Contrary to popular opinion, the goal of a sermon isn’t to make you more obedient. It’s to expose your disobedience and deliver the One who was obedient in your place. Ironically, this alone has a way of producing obedience from the heart.

Real peace, hope, and confidence don’t come from the shaky ground of other people’s approval. They come from the immovable foundation of God’s love for you. instagram.com/p/DbOFNBdBdLb/…

You weren't forgiven because you finally stopped. You were forgiven because Jesus died. Religion keeps you staring at your failures. Jesus tells you to fix your eyes on Him. Stop making your sin bigger than your Savior. It's time to live forgiven and fulfilled!

The deepest evidence of real growth isn’t the absence of struggle. It’s the absence of pretense.

Thou shalt not steal pre-supposes private property. So the Bible affirms the fact that you have a right to private property.

IF YOU’RE GONNA PRAY, WHY WORRY? IF YOU’RE GONNA WORRY, WHY PRAY? 🙂 We spend so much time carrying stress over things that never even happen. Research suggests: • 85% of what we worry about never happens at all. • Of the 15% that does happen, most turns out better or more manageable than expected. • Only a very small percentage actually becomes as bad as we imagined. Think about that… Out of 100 worries: • 85 never happen • 12 work out better than expected • Only about 3 become as bad or worse than we feared Yet worry steals our peace, drains our energy, disrupts our sleep, and distracts us from the blessings sitting right in front of us. Faith doesn’t mean life will be easy. It means you trust God even when life feels uncertain. Worry says: “What if it all falls apart?” Faith says: “What if God holds it all together?” You can’t control every outcome. But you can control where you place your focus. Pray. Trust. Take the next right step. And remember: God has already been faithful in every chapter before this one. #NSGB #FaithOverFear #TrustGod #NeverStopGettingBetter #Mindset #Leadership #Growth #MentalStrength #Peace #Faith #ResponseAbility #WorryLess #PrayMore

Really well done critique of old earth, creationism, and instead arguing for young earth creationism.
These brilliant Christian thinkers have made a HUGE mistake. Today, Dr. Terry Mortenson raises eight objections to Dr. John Lennox’s and Dr. Jack Collins’ claims about the age of the universe and the Genesis account of creation.

Why did God create Adam and Eve knowing they would sin? Well, we could ask that same question about us. Why do we as parents have kids knowing they will sin? Because we know that, despite the fact that our kids are going to do evil, they can still do good.

Once you know you’re loved without condition, you stop dancing to the music of other people’s expectations. Their verdicts no longer stick. Their scales no longer matter. Their cages no longer hold.

This is the best FB response I have seen so far on Trump’s “healer picture” post: “All of you know full well Trump doesn’t truly see himself as a savior nor healer. It’s quite shocking how easily that image rattled some of you and prompted a need to call him out of his ‘blasphemous ways.’ Few presidents in the history of mankind have done more for the advancement of the Judeo-Christian faith than President Donald Trump. 1. Appointed three Supreme Court justices who overturned Roe v. Wade, delivering a major pro-life victory. 2. Established the White House Faith Office in the West Wing to prioritize faith-based initiatives and religious liberty. 3. Created the Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias to combat federal discrimination against Christians. 4. Launched the Religious Liberty Commission to protect and promote Christian expression nationwide. 5. Pardoned pro-life activists and Christians targeted for peaceful prayer and faith-based actions. 6. Moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, honoring biblical ties and evangelical priorities. 7. Issued protections for voluntary prayer and religious speech in public schools and federal workplaces. 8. Expanded conscience rights for Christian healthcare workers, chaplains, and adoption agencies. 9. Allowed churches to endorse candidates from the pulpit without losing tax-exempt status. 10. Affirmed America’s Judeo-Christian heritage through proclamations, faith events, and anti-Semitism efforts. The list goes on. Have you praised God for that? Or are we busy savoring for every opportunity to shout how ‘unlike Christ’ he is. Imagine how much more orderly the world would be if we all scrutinized and corrected ourselves as harshly as we do the President. God have mercy on us. Grace for America.”

Again, this is what we’re up against….
Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar reveals that their true goal is to wipe out all Christians and Jewish people across the world. “To create a world where Judaism and Christianity do not exist.”

If you are committed to grace alone, expect attacks from the religious crowd. Take it as confirmation—and press the gas.
