Today’s Treasure from my collection: Remembering LSU Coach Dale Brown, who passed away at age 90. Brown was a master of positive thinking & leadership. Years ago in the lobby of the coaches hotel at a Final Four I recall Coach had words of encouragement for my then-teenage son.
Today’s Treasure from my collection: Remembering Arvid Kramer, who passed away at age 70. Arvid played for the 1979-80 NBA Nuggets, as well as overseas. Coach Arvid was a fixture in north county San Diego youth basketball for decades. My son played for Arvid in multiple seasons.
This beautiful image on Westy's Nike poster (& "card") has inspired me since it came out. It really captures the joy of shooting hoops in solitude on a basketball court.
The cards from this set that didn't have backwards jerseys on sure had more eye appeal, like this one of Wilt.
Legal (or not), know that most referees in past eras would have called it a travel based on the optics.

Today’s Treasure from my collection: Remembering hoop legend Cliff Hagan, who recently passed away at age 94. An NCAA & NBA champion, Cliff was a world-class autograph signer, with elegant penmanship (take note, young players) & was very accommodating to his fans over the years.

I agree with you on Wemby. He seems involved in too many risky plays (where he is airborne) that are far from the basket.
