There are a lot of really smart, eminent people at the Franklin, but as PhD students we always feel like we can ask questions and seek advice.” Nadisha Gamage - 2021/2022 Franklin PhD Cohort

I remember seeing a lot of adverts banning WFH, both from landlords and also from the other residents on Spareroom. One even told me that he didn't want to keep the heating on during the day, so no WFH. "You can rent this room but if you spend the whole day in it I'll be so mad"
Check our Portstewart FC new home kit for another banger from these guys @PortstewartFC
That's the one! As far as I understand it's dreadfully endangered, may not have even been spotted for years

Wonderful to see our paper out in @Nature today! What happens if we experimentally challenge young healthy seronegative adult volunteers with SARS-CoV-2 and apply single cell multi-omics? Not everyone subsequently gets COVID-19! nature.com/articles/s41586-0…
Mere hours later, "Five people including a child have died in an attempt to cross in a small boat".
"Illegal immigration minister Michael Tomlinson insists the deterrent effect will "kick in" when the flights start".
Horrific.

The stability of our water systems is at the whim of investors who demanded a forty percent increase! Thankfully it was blocked, but this is a direct, expensive impact that private investors attempted to exert over Britons for an essential service.
"The current shareholders which include UK and Canadian pension funds [and] Chinese and Gulf State investors pulled the planned £500m cash injection when Ofwat rejected proposals to raise customer bills by 40% above inflation by 2030." Is this sovereignty? bbc.co.uk/news/business-6874…

"There will never be any political problems with Northern Ireland ever again!"
"Incredible, what an achievement"
"Yeah, instead it will be Southern Ireland"
