It will be interesting to see which of our succession of incompetent future governments is brought down by the inevitable loss of the Falklands or salvaged by some face-saving deal whose only purpose would be to make it appear that the Government was in control all the time.

There is no 'nation' any more. There are just discontented or satisfied populations kept in balance by a bunch of professional rascals making use of a tired and inadequate state mechanism to plunder the tax payer and create stories for another class of media sub-intellectuals.

Establishment figures beating the war drums seem not to understand that the Britain of the 20th century no longer exists. With diminishing levels of social solidarity and trust, any ‘call to arms’ is likely to fall upon deaf ears. My latest piece (£). 👇 paulembery.com/p/why-should-…

Anyone who supports the Labour Party is either very very stupid, on the make or a villain. Anyone who supports the Tory Party is just very very stupid or a villain. Two factions of the same disastrous experiment in long-range incompetence modified by opportunism and greed.

Britain £3 trillion in debt. This is the price of deindustrialisation. This is the price of exporting capital and therefore productive labour abroad. This is the price of an economy reduced to the whim of money lenders. This is the price of capitalism.

In 2022 a shockingly empty chamber of the House of Commons for my debate. It was the Worlds first parliamentary debate on ‘Excess Deaths’ following the Covid ‘vaccine’ rollout. Something which affected every community and every constituency in the country, but your ‘elected representatives’ were not interested. But the BBC were interested and added their own subtitles/captions ( displayed in the images) to the live broadcast. I subsequently had a complaint to OFCom against the BBC upheld. The BBC said they added their own subtitles/captions to give ‘context’ to my speech. The BBC have never done this before or since to any speech by an MP in the House of Commons. It was clearly preplanned and the subtitles/captions were mostly unrelated to what I was saying. Following this outrageous behaviour by the BBC I cancelled my TV licence and gave away my televisions. Now they want all of us to pay the BBC tax again through a tax on our internet access.

They bring danger to our door, then tell us to be ready for war.
“Be ready by having some everyday essentials… three litres of water per person per day, tinned goods... to last a few days” Speaking to @vicderbyshire, Defence Secretary Wes Streeting details advice to households to be prepared for a “dangerous and turbulent world”. #Newsnight

The neocon dream is for Putin to strike a Nato country We have to stop this war before that happens. The callousness and cruelty of the people pushing this war, says Tucker Carlson, is remarkable. They're drafting men with Down's Syndrome in Ukraine and nobody's bothered by that?! It is also politically useful in atomising the population so that it can become more manageable through cultural and social engineering ... that is breaking down but the social damage has been done and may not be reversible.
He’s right but loneliness is an epidemic throughout Britain, not just in rural areas. So many places where people in previous generations could meet and make new friends or find new partners, be they pubs, dance halls, discos, social/works clubs, you name it, have closed down. Social life in Britain is worse now than probably at any other time in our history (bar the grim Cromwell years). But no politicians are talking about it, even though the cost to individuals and society is huge.

They want to tax you £180 a year to watch YouTube to pay for BBC propaganda. It was never a TV licence, it was always a propaganda tax.

To say that Merz is detached from reality doesn’t even begin to describe this. How many Germans agree with him? Well, given recent state votes and polling, a minority.

Teacher friend of mine just had his new family car stolen from in front of his London home, four days after buying it. @metpoliceuk closed the case after just 4 hours. Just 0.9% of London car thefts result in arrests, vs 11% for Berlin and 60% for Tokyo.

Resistance to this old codger nonsense will not be futile ...
Retired senior British Army officer Lord Dannatt has said "I would expect to see the Army Reserve mobilised first, then Regular Reservists recalled to active service and then His Majesty's Government would need to consider conscription, starting with 18-24-year-olds."
