Um problema nesse jogo: Só poucos dribles diagonais dos jogadores ofensivos buscando a bola nas margens da formação defensiva do adversário para colocar essa mesma sob pressção e poder infiltrar num ângulo mais favorável (sob a condição de combinar dribles com tabelas)
No entanto, a seleção utilizava esse espaço na meia-direita (estando bem ocupado ou não) de menos. Se a bola foi invertida (difícil contra linha de 5 sem atraír a zaga), os lances da esquerda pela meia-direita continuaram horizontalmente pela direita ao invés de verticalmente
Assim, Rodrygo podia ou receber a bola entre as linhas e/ou apoiar na meia-direita, espaço mais interesante. Com muitos jogadores em torno de Paquetá lá, possível quebrar a defesa, por meio de participação de Rodrygo e avanços surpreendentes de Bruno (coberto por João Gomes)
