Had a great time in beautiful Pickerington today for the Lions Labor Day parade. Thank you to my friends and supporters for coming out to experience the parade!

Cameron Fontana of WSYX-TV was the Grand Marshall of the Pickerington Labor Day parade today, and I presented him a resolution from the Ohio Senate. I had a chance to meet him and his family—wonderful people!

Honored to present Pickerington’s Annette Echikunwoke with a Senate resolution at today’s Labor Day celebration honoring her Silver Medal performance in the Paris Olympics. She is an outstanding representative of Pickerington and Ohio!

Beautiful day in a beautiful community, Somerset, for the Independence Day celebration today. Thanks to Ron Gleason for my truck, Ben Mitchell for driving his Corvette, and the entire Bailey family for walking with Lori and me. We thoroughly enjoyed the parade!

Thank you, Ohio Chamber of Commerce, for your endorsement and faith in the growing economy we are building in Ohio.

Great to be in Johnstown for the Firemen’s Festival parade.

Delivered testimony today on SB 238, consumer protections against incompetent and unscrupulous home contractors. In the picture I was showing dryer venting material that a bad contractor used to improperly vent a gas water heater—it almost proved deadly for an Ohio family!

I introduced my riot restitution bill today. It will prevent civilian authority from forcing sworn police officers to “stand down” during a riot and provide citizens the right to sue for damages when rioters destroy property. ohiosenate.gov/members/tim-s…

I had a great time this morning at Bloom-Carroll High School experiencing some amazing Science Fair projects. These kids are really smart, and they are our next industry and community leaders! Great job, teacher and Science Fair organizer Joe Carter!
