Spent 41 years doing a job I absolutely loved, but always wanted to work in a record store…dream came true at 62!😎

If there’s such a thing as a perfect gig, this was it…The Coral, Birmingham, 24/10/26

The night after the night before! #TheSequel #RoundTwo 😀…Let The Music Play!!

Whilst 'Jacqueline' is my favourite song of theirs, due to its sentiments & melody, that transports you, I’d posit the view that the suburban nightmare as exemplified in 'Bill McCai', & written with such foresight, makes it The Coral’s greatest song…

Thanks to @thecoralband for a brilliant gig @O2InstituteBham this evening! Every song struck a chord & the connection between the band and the crowd was electric!!

#RoadTrip…soundtrack!!😎

Decisions…😎

Off to see Britain’s finest band of the past 20-plus years…

Remember Me & Fireflies show different sides of the band, while still feeling like they belong together…a timeless album, because it exists in its own world…& don’t get me started on Jacqueline…one of my favourite songs…by any band!! Roots & Echoes by The Coral #NowPlaying

Storms are heading in, but sunlight is breaking through with The Coral’s 'Move Through The Dawn'. There’s a sense of freedom running through the record, & I can vividly remember driving through The Mojave Desert playing it on full volume, with the top down of our hired Mustang!😎

Genius move to release two albums on same day, especially as 'Holy Joe’s…' is only available in a physical format. Here’s The Coral, with their typically vivid imagination, making the ordinary world feel like a strange dream…a forgotten fairground, a dusty amusement arcade…

The #BobDylan feature in latest @MOJOmagazine keeping me ticking over until @bppulseLIVE in November & beyond! Oh, & that mega box set!…love @rayfp’s writing!
