Brilliant move by Canada. Think about the innovation boost from integration with EU regulations. Think about the strategic benefits of associating Canada with a block that is demographically strong, has fast economic growth, streamlined decision making, a powerful military, a logical command structure and is on the cutting edge of AI. With open borders with Europe, Canada would reap the benefit of Europe’s immigration policies, who are attracting top tier talent from Africa and the Middle East with brillant social programs. Joining the EU would improve relations with a future Democrat administration, who loves the EU more than the United States. The possibilities are LIMITLESS if Canada unifies with Europe.
